If your dog is very active I would feed the best. Otherwise you can feed a 3 or 4 star food and they should be a healthy weight. Remember you do not want them to become overweight. So pick a food best suited for your dogs lifestyle.

I have found the best results in the brand IAMS and the brand Pedigree. Those to brands produce the most nutrients . They help a dog stay heathly and come to a heatly weight.

I hope that you are not abusing that animal... there is just about only one reason people want to make a pit gain weight... hope ths is not the case.

I always fed mine Pedigree...As far as gaining weight, Pitbulls were not meant to be big dogs, most are very active and are going to be on the thin side... :}

Almost all dogs I know seem to like purina 1 more than other (dry) dog foods. I would definatly reccomend asking your vet, however.
