I had a girlfriend who had two of them that she loved. I thought they were disgusting. Everytime they got excited, they would jump up on me and blow snot on me. The male dog snored like a 12 pack-a-day drunken sailer. Ugly and disgusting - so what is the attraction?

My 7 year old golden/shephard mix licks me ALL THE TIME and it is driving me crazy. I've tried putting tabasco on my hand to discourage the behavior but he kinda likes it so if anyone could offer insight into how I can stop this I would be grateful.

I have an 8 month old whippet/pitbull cross. We adopted her about a month ago and have just noticed some strange behaviour with no patterns. When we first got her she met a dog and they played daily for two weeks. One day, after two weeks of playing she was on a lead and her friend wasn't. She kept trying to get her friend to play and he wouldn't, so she got really aggressive really fast and attacked him. We couldn't have her around him after that.
A few days later she was brought to a friends house with the nicest pitbull ever! She took one look and attacked her as well.
It has been 2 weeks, and she has been decent around dogs, but she went to a friends who had another dog visiting as well. She was a pitbull cross. My dog sat beside her calmy for about 5 minutes, then bit the dogs neck and wouldn't let go. She was finally pulled off and left the other dog whimpering.

How can I get her to get along with dogs? Why does she get aggressive only on an irregualr basis?

I have a 3 year old Beagle, and everyonce in awhile his head starts throbbing and pulsating. It's very noticeable, but it's at random times, and there isn't any 'cause' for it that we see. It doesn't happen after he gets in trouble, or when he's sniffing. He'll be sitting there quitely and then it happens. Can anyone give me a reason for this? He's been to the vet for physicals, etc but not specifically for it.

He has been neutered, and it doesn't seem to matter what I do. If I put him in a fence I think he can't get out of he jumps the fence anyway. And if he can't jump the fence he digs under the fence. He is a good dog otherwise. His father was a pure blood golden retriever, and his mother was a mutt.

She's 4 years old and has a nasty habit of rolling on dead animals.(gross!) She also has dandruff. Is there a brand of shampoo that's best to use on her to keep her skin from drying out, but will still cover up any bad smells?

My dog Cody peed on me like he was marking his territory. I know this is funny but is it normal? I was standing by my fireplace and proceeded to hike up his leg and peed on me?

He's very attached to me so I was just wondering if this was normal?

I am in the early stages of training my dog for drafting. I also have been working on obtaining his CGC. The parts he is having the most difficulty are reaction to other dogs (wants to play) and supervised separation. He gets upset when I leave. Any helpful suggestions?
