well, this will require patience and commitment from you. Only feed your animal twice a day and about 5 minutes after feeding take them outside and walk them till they poop. after every water feeding take them outside immedietley till they pee. Eventually they will get the point. Puppies take a lot longer. Sometimes up to a year to completley potty train.

You have to take the position as alpha dog. Seriously, put the leash on the dog, and keep it on until he or she does what you want . Then when they do it, give treats and praise them- a lot! No need for spanks. Try this in intervals of 15 minutes, then give a break in between. It make take a while, but they will learn. If not, call an animal trainer. You might try to figure out why they are stubborn. Is it the location of the training, are there other pets around, what is the distraction. Also, it is harder to train a dog when they are not in their safe zone. Good luck.

The only thing that ever helped my stubborn dog was to keep him in the kitchen while I was out of the house (w/newspaper on floor) and take him out upon return to the house. Even then I could count on a wizz or two. He was, however, ashamed & embarassed to make a poo inside. Go fig.

If you always take it outside after about 10 minutes after its eaten and say "do something" until it does its business and then bring it back inside and praise it for going outside, this may work. If you have a little dog try gettting puppy training pads.
