no the dairy and eggs plus the amount of sugar in cheesecake could upset your dog's tummy. you should never feed your dog from the table. and really why would you have leftover cheesecake and throw it away. that's inhumane. send it to me!!!!!!!!

I dont think your dog should be eating cheesecake. Dogs are lactose intollerant, and cheesecake has a high amount of dairy and sugar which can be harmful or even fatal to your beloved pooch.
If you want to give your dog a treat and he loves dairy, then give him a small cup of plain, natural yoghurt or some cottage cheese (as in 2 tbl spoons). This dairy isnt harmful to dogs as it has no added sugar and is easy to digest.
You mentioned that your dog eats anything, so I thought I should warn you about a few foods which are poisenous to dogs and can be fatal. These are onions, grapes, rainins and sultanas. Beware of giving your dog these even in small doses.
I would throw the cake away or give it to a friend or neighbour. It wouldnt be very safe to give it to your dog.
I hope I heled a little!!

Cheesecake is a dairy product and most dogs do not tolerate dairy very well, not to mention the high amounts of sugar in cheesecake. I wouldn't do it just to be safe.

Throw it away.
If your dog really eats just about anything, you will see the results of this when he gets older. They'll show up in the form of kidney or liver failure.

The notion that dogs cannot eat people food is ludicrous. They eat chicken, beef, pumpkin, etc, etc, etc. Sweets I agree they should not eat along with dairy. Check with your vet if you have questions but please people, these blanket answers do not help.

Well I'm sure the vet would agree with the others here ----However, I have a spoiled little pom who I give anything she wants, chocolate, dates, beef jerkey, u name it. If it doesn't agree with her she will handle it. BTW I told my vet about this and he said "All dogs are decended from wild animals, and you certainly can't control what they eat!"

no, dogs are lactose intolarent. they do not produce the enzyme lactase in the same way as humans or cats and so cannot process any dairy products

They're not supposed to have sweets.
But I think,
Cheesecake is delicious, so why couldn't a dog eat it?
