You've taught him that persistence pays off.
He knows if he's loud you will do exactly what he wants, which is quit with the computer and pay attention to him.
Keep in mind that to dogs even negative attention is better than being alone/not paid attention to.

From now on, he only gets attention when he's quiet. If you pay any attention to the whining, it will continue. Pay attention to quiet, that's what he will repeat.

Put 10-15 pennies (or small pebbles) in a soda can. Tape the top closed and shake it when he get really loud. Don't say anything, don't look at him until the second he's quiet, then praise him.
Be consistent. If you cave just once in a long while, he will be harder to train the next time.

properly actually it relies upon on why he's whining. some proprietors be responsive to why their canines whine. Mine could whine while he exchange into bored or wanted interest. attempt getting your dogs a toy that calls for him to think of like a kong or a buster dice. If that's not that then that's interest whining. If its that then you rather merely would desire to ignore approximately him thoroughly to make it give up do not even look at him. Then reward him while hes quiet. It rather sounds like he needs exercising of a few form. My husky could whine if he did not get exercising. perhaps you would be able to desire to hire a dogs walker. i'm hoping this helps.

The answer is simple, give your doberman more attention. I have had dobermans in the past and they did the same thing. They love love love attention. Granted the whine is buggy and sometimes you may just be to busy but Dobermans are a breed that seem to require constant attention. They are a wonderful and affectionate breed but in order to stay that way they really need the attention and love of a devoted owner.

dont give in... just like training a dog tell him no and tell him to go lay down... if you give in he sees it works, and continues
