Obedience training all the way. If it's nipping while playing, that's much easier to handle. If it's aggression, definately need more intense training by a professional to help.

Whatever he is biting stop him at once and scold him. Then ignore him for a day, don't even look at him!! Keep doing this drill if he does it again. If he is biting furnitures and things, u should buy him so dog toys or big bones to bite because the reason might be that his teeth are itchy. He will learn, don't worry. I have a good dog who bites my dolls sometimes, i just give him plastic balls to bite and it works.

If someone (or something) bites you, bite it back... lol just kidding, I don't think that would work with a dog. I have had 2 dogs that both bit my brother and so we just ended up getting rid of them eventually. The first dog had problems anyways and so we gave it to my grandparents (as they loved the dog) and the second dog we gave to some of our friends because they didn't have kids and our dog just didn't like kids.

I'm assuming that you're talking about playful biting rather than violent biting. I have found that simply repeating "NO BITE" in a stern voice, removing my arm from her mouth and continuing to play works well with my dog. She still will forget sometimes when we are playing but a stern reminder puts her right back on track. It's a matter of consistency and repeating yourself EVERY time you see the behavior.

Professional training will also make a remarkable difference in your dog's behavior.

Bites you or other people? You could get a muzzle for when the dog is in public. I would try a professional trainer

take it to see a vet or animal behaviourist to see why it is biting. If it just a behavioural thing it can probably be trained out, however their may be some underlying health reason which is always worth checking first.

You need to talk to a professional animal behaviourist, people will tell you all kinds of cracked ideas but without seeing the animal and how it behaves any advice would probably only make matters worse.

Bite it on the ear, not to hard though, just enough for it to feel it.

when he bites say a firm and loud "NO"! and give him a spank on the back. Then put him byhimself in another room away from the people.
