I have 3 mother cats that each had a litter of kittens there were 17 total i just recently gave one away making it 16 kittens. I cannot afford the health care or advice from a vet but i am having a problem with the kittens.

The kittens in question are 8-10 weeks old. I'm having a problem with their eyes crusting over and puss coming out of them. What is the cause of this problem and how do i fix it. Other than the eyes they seem to be pretty healthy and love to play and romp.

Could what their eating be causing this problem?

ok...i have a cat who gets mad and pees on things. Better put..everything. We've had the cats for 8 years and he has lived with dogs all his life. well we lost our dog last year..so the cats ran the house for a year. now we have a new dog and the cat has gone mad and takes it out on us by urinating on whatever is handy. its out of control. and we dont want to have to get rid of him..but unless we can fix the problem..thats the only other option... any help or advice would help im sure!

thanks a bunch..i hope this works for all our sake.

I have a cat I found on my job about 8 months ago. I paid for him to be neutered and declawed also for his shots he was a house cat. One day he became very sick. I took him to the vet rather than to see him die at home I wanted to get the help he needed. The Vet said he had renal failure and he needed anti biotics and a I.V. I thought he would be fine. He indeed came out to be okay but the bill was $630. I don't have that kind of money. I found the cat when hes was 6 weeks old. I nursed him to health and he had a heart condition according to the Vet. I explained to them I could not afford such a high vet bill. I asked if I could make payments, they said yes but I would have to pay $30 a day until I get him out. I don't know who to turn to for help. My 4 children miss the cat his name is Jazz. Please send me some info on how to get financial help with my cats bill so I can get him home.

My 16 year old cat has a promblem with her potassium levels. I have a question about it. Would you be able to give a cat potassium pills that are sold in stores for people. I would never do anything to harm my cat and am asking first if it would hurt her or be alright.

Im so devastated, shocked, depressed and scared. Ive had this cat since i was not even a year old and now i am 13 years old. He had kindney failure and that made him loose weight and die. He died about 8 hours ago. He couldnt get up from lying down and my mom just took him to the vet so they could put him to sleep. I don't know how to calm myself down or make myself cheer up. Any answers?

well, after my latter ferret sadly died, my dad said no more caged animals, which took me awhile to get over :( they are like kittens that never grow up.
so i've started thinking about a cat. my birthday is in september, and i want to ask my parents for a kitten. i've had a lot of cats before and the reason we stopped having cats as pets was because my dad is REALLY allergic to pet dander. we have a toy poodle, bcuz they don't shed. i was wondering if anybody knows a good many cats who don't shed, besides a sphynx (hairless cat).
anything will help, thanks!

Ok, Jabba, my cat who has been sick is now feeling better. For full story you can read previous questions. Well, I'm not sure it is what the vet had stated, but he is feeling better. He has started to eat, demands food now, and he is drinking and he has went potty. Well today he has started to violently sneeze, he will just start to sneeze over and over and over and it has almost knocked him off balance. Now is the sneezing, like maybe a cold be the reason he has been sick or could the sneezing be another symptom of something else. This is the first time in the 2 years that I have had him that I have actually ever heard him sneeze. There isn't any new plants or anything like that or nothing different in the house. Just curious. Thanks!

We have recently adopted a kitten. She has been with us for two months now and is about 10 months old. She has adjusted very quickly, is a wonderful and very loving kitty. She seems to enjoy being the only child, but my husband and I both work full time during the week and we worry that she is lonely while we are away. She gets very excited when we come home and demands a lot of attention! She is also very excited when we come home from being away for a short period of time. She's very social and seems to enjoy company. She even loves it when guests come over. Should we get her a companion?

I've been weak for a weak now and been to the ER last night. Diagnosed with gastrointestinitis. But I just saw a maggot size worm on the tail of my 6wk old kitten and she and the 10wk old kitten has been sharing everything. And the even share my bed with me at times. The little one would curl up on my neck at nights. Sometimes I wake up with her rear end close to my cheek. Now, I don't know what to do...I don't even know what type of worm is that. I found her with many fleas. She is flea free now. And appointment to see the vet is booked up for 2wks now. I'm worried more about my health now more than the cats. Any suggestions?
