Could be a tick, cyst, bone fragment from an old injury, inflamed pore, bb from a nasty neighborhood kid - anything really!

You'd need someone to look at it to have any idea. We can only guess. Just remember to ask the vet next time you are in. If it isn't a tick, and is under the skin don't worry unless it gets bigger.

Get that checked out by a vet ASAP. It could be a cyst, broken bone, tumor, infection, a million different things. Definitely take her to the vet soon because if it's serious, the speed that you get her checked out could correlate to how long you cat survives. On the other hand, it could be a harmless fat cell (my friends dog has a huge bump on her chest that is nothing). So don't panic but you don't want her to be in pain so get her checked out.

Please take your cat to the vet as soon as possible to have it checked. It could be just a cyst, but it could also be tumor.

cyst (not sure the spelling), my dog has one the size of a quarter. It comes and goes on it's own.
