Yes, it's normal, and through this play they learn to socialise, becaus ethey will eventually realize that scratching and biting someone means that they are also bitten or scratched, which is not so pleasant, so eventually they will stop doing it as they grow old. Kittens who do not have this kind of play in their childhood (if they are separated from their brothers and sisters too early) end up like my cat, who thinks it is OK to bite me with his sharp teeth all the time. So let them play.

Kittens of both sexes play fight.
I have two nine month old kittens that would become quite active toward each other when kept indoors, but when they were allowed out into the garden they found other things to entertain themselves with and the fights stopped.

I did the same thing and have a brother and sister. They used to race around fighting all the time and got quite crazy at times but they are now 1 year old and sleep mostly! infact the sister is boss and the boy is just a lazy ball of fluff who purrs all day.You wouldnt think they were the same cats.Dont worry its a kitten thing.

i have 3 cats and 2 of them play all the time. iused to break it up b/c I thought they were fighting too. But as long as they aren't hissing or even growling they're just playing. That's how cats play.they chase and pounce and wrestle! i thunk it's cute!! let them play. If they are fighting, break it up.

Completely normal. As long as the kittens are not hissing/growling at one another they are just playing. Cat play can seem very violent to us humans.

Me and my mum got our kittens from the same lady at the same time(so they sisters) and they are 7weeks old...Ruby lives with me and Poppy lives with my mum...but when I go to visit my mum I take Ruby with me and vice versa...they both chase each other around and dive on each other all the time...your kittens will just be learning how to hunt and defend their territory, least they got someone to play with!!!

Totally normal and essential for their emotional development. If they didn't have each other they'd be trying to play-bite and scratch YOU!
