hey there, this isnt really an answer - but please when you find out/have an outcome to what is wrong, let me know too! my cat is exactly the same. for about a week now, he hasnt eaten. he is getting skinny. its really worrying us all. my cat has always been a eater. we have tried loads of things to persuade him to eat!
he is about 11. how old is your cat?
doc gave him some antibiotics and said he may have ingested soemthing, but its just not like him.
please let me know too, or what happens. we really dont want to put him down, but if he doesnt eat soon, he is gonna die of malnourishment or liver failure or sumthing??? please help! he is my baby!

I don't mean to alarm you but I had a cat that died from a stroke and he acted like that right before he fell over and died. I'd take her NOW to another emergency vet. If there are none close to where you live keep her quiet , keep offering fluids, try to warm up canned cat food in the microwave but make sure it's not hot and offer this to her but make sure you get her to a vet, preferably her own ASAP. Good luck.

Oh my have you asked about the food recall? Maybe the kind of food you are giving the cat is on the list. Take her back to the vet and demand an answer!!!! She is your baby. Good luck.

Did they check her for blindness? If her pupils are dilated she may be blind which would explain the disorientation and running into things. It happened to my cat and when I took the cat to the emergency vet, they didn't even have the intelligence to check his eyes. I had to insist that they do so, and then they said, "Oh yeah. His retinas are detached." Morons. So double-check! You know your pet better than anyone. Don't just rely on the doctor. Or get a second opinion from another doctor.

Sounds like she had had a stroke. It's uncommon but does happen. She could also have a brain tumor. I am very very surprised that the vets let you take her home with no improvement.
I would find another vet ASAP.

Hi
Were blood tests done? Why was she dehydrated? Have your vets ruled out a stroke? Food poisening? Iwish you the best.

What did the vet say? Sounds like she has a virus. Doesn't sound very good at all.
