My cat is pregnant, and while rubbing her belly, I witnessed a small white "worm" (?) come out of her vagina! Does anyone know anything about this???

If your momma cat has worms its a good chance that the babies will have worms too. If ya cant afford a vet, go to a pet store. Pets mart And ask a clerk what you should give the cat and the kittens..

Sounds like a tape worm. Most likely came out of the bottom not the vagina. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't like chemical de-wormers. I use Shaklee's Basic H to deworm my cats. you can give it to them orally or you can wash them with it and leave them damp and they will lick it off. It is natural and won't hurt the momma or baby cats. Once the kittens are born you can use on them too. It's not listed as an "official use" but people have found tons of uses for Basic H. Plus since it is ultra concentrated it lasts a long time.

Ask your vet if you can give her de-worming medicines while pregnant. Cats often have worms, if they are not de-wormed regularly. Make sure you de-worm the kittens too when it is time, because they get the worms from their mum. Ask your vet what to give them and when, not all medications are appropriate for all ages.

Never heard of it. Now this *is* something I would take her to the vet over...I mean, I'm thinking that worms are internal, so they could escape from any orifice, but I've never seen any come from the vagina. I always assumed these intestinal parasites attached themselves to the intestines and anal cavity...not the vaginal tract. And her being pregnant makes it that much more risky. Good luck.

i don't know, I never laughed at that variety of stuff. I remember how this one guy, who had phimosis for many his adolescence.
