I understand that she's most likely "giving them to me as presents", but ít's frustrating the hell out of me. It's gotten to where she brings in at least one dead animal a day (most often a rabbit) and leaves it beside my desk. Sometimes she'll decide she's hungry and eat on it, which is much worse since then I have to clean up a half eaten dead rabbit. Also, there are times when she even brings in *alive* animals. Once, she brought in a living bird and LET IT LOOSE in the house. She's even brought in an alive LIZARD! I realize there's probably no way I can stop her from doing this since it's instinct, but I was hoping someone might have some ideas anyway.

theres a family that lives next door-7 yr old girl, her older brother and their parents, well anyway-the girl says that i kidnapped her cat! i had never even talked to her much before, she seemed like a nice kid but anyway. on thursday her parents came to my house saying "bring back our daughters cat." i said something along the lines of "is your little girls cat lost?" and her father said "dont be smart with us, our daughter says she saw you take him from our yard, are you calling her a liar?"i told them i didnt know anything about their kids cat, they seemed pissed but they left me. the next day the girls bro around highschool age yells at me while im gardening to return his baby sisters cat and said id regret it if i didnt. and now that lil brat got another girl in the neighborhood, one of her friends, to say that shes seen me beat animals before!i live in a smalltown and ppl are refering to me as the cat rapist, and her dad keeps yelling at me to give her back the cat, what do i do?

I feed her once in the morning and once at night. Sometimes she makes me feel so bad that I feed her in the middle of the day. She will eat anything I give her and all of it. If she does not have food to eat in her dish she goes and eats the dog's food. She then meows like crazy at our feet cuz she wants us to feed her. What up with this cat, she is about 9 months old.

The cat was neutured yesterday and returned home today. A couple of hours after I got home I noticed that he was bleeding from his private area. I called the vet and they said to bring him in but it is almost impossible to get him in the carrier to take him...so I went and got gauze and tape ...it didn't stay on long enough to help so now he has my seven year old step daughters underware on him to contain the bleeding. Is there anything I can put on him to help the blood clot like neosporin or salve?

I really can't afford to get my cat spayed at the moment, but she's in heat. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable and take her mind off of being in heat?

I've had my cat for around 3 years, he's 12. He's always been the type to hide away for days at a time then come out and be "lovey" for a few days then goes back to hiding again. He was in hiding for a while longer then normal and just when I expected to find he'd died in a hiding spot I hadn't seen - I found him - or rather the dogs found him. He's not well. He's losing a lot of hair and it seems he's lost most control over his bottom half. He's having a real hard time moving around. I did find that he had pottied near where he was laying but it did not have the normal smells to it - the urine did not have a strong odor and the poop didn't look unusual. Beings it's a holiday weekend my vet is unavailable. I don't know what to do! My cat looks terrible, and probably is miserable as ever. Does anyone know what is going on with him?

I know that some of you may not want to pray... thinking a kitten does not possess a soul, however it is one of our Creator's creations... and deserves a chance.

I don't care what religion or spirituality you are... I believe in the power of prayers!

The runt kitten is not doing so well from a bunch that was born yesterday. I know that it is natures way to let those that are sick or that has something wrong with them... to pass on. My prayers is that if this kitten can have a fighting chance in life as a normal kitty... please pray that it gains the strenght as the runt... to survive! If it lives I know someone that will give it a loving home... and all the things it needs in life... if it lives.

Please pray for this little furbaby.

Any suggestions are welcome as to how to help this little one too. Called a vet, am giving it kittens milk and stimulating it to well, pee and poop. But any other help and all prayers are welcome!

just recently my cat started to pee on my bed every once in a while. I stopped letting her in our room unsupervised, and just this morning she did it again! nothing has changed, there is nothing new, and I havn't changed anything around. she snuck in quickly and did it. she has 2 cat boxes, and I clean them everyday. not only that, our bed shouldn't smell dirty to her because I wash our stuff at least every other day. and she's actually peed on my hubby, during the night on his legs, and then by his head. I don't knowif she's trying to be protective, or what. I am pregnant, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it either. Any suggestions?

I have a two month old kitten that was orphaned right after birth that I have bottle fed and hand raised... Its the only kitten and now its spoiled rotten! It is very active, which I know is normal for young kittens, but it is also very aggresive because she didn't have her mother or littermates to teach her what kind of play is too rough. We have been considering getting another kitten about the same age, but my question is for anyone who might have experienced this is do you think she will be too aggresive with a new kitten? Do you think she will be territorial with this new cat in her home?

Also she has played with a friends female kitten (at the other kittens house), but she always seems to make the other cat run off and cry...if we get a second kitten, do you think male would be the best choice?

I have a new 6 week old baby, Lexi. I also have 3 grown cats from 2 years to 5 years old. All are fixed but the baby. Anyway, 2 of my cats hiss at the kitten everytime she goes near them. The last one, Cornbread (he's my avatar) is an absolute sweetheart and has taken to Lexi and plays with her and washes her and calls her to him when the others hiss. What makes some cats so good natured? They were all raised the same way by me from kittens.

Just what the world needs... more cats. Oh well, I found her as a stray, healthy young cat. Thought she might be getting fat... she had 2 kittens this morning, it is 4 hours later, and that seems to be it! Is that normal, or could there still be more stuck inside her? I called the vet & they said as long as she's not straining or acting restless or sick, that's probably it. I thought cats had more. Also, I touched them to move them, is that ok to touch them when they're so young? When is it ok to hold them a little? I am scared she will crush them. She gave birth in a bad area, a closet, so I had to move the kittens, I put them inside a laundry basket with a blanket, under a high bed, but she keeps taking them out, well she just has 1 out nursing it, and the other one is alone in the basket, is that normal?

Thanks!

My cat has been vomiting on occasion lately. Not very often, but maybe 4 times in the last month. And I wasn't too worried about it because he seemed perfectly healthy otherwise. But then yesterday I was petting him on his chin and I noticed a quite large lump. About the size of a walnut. It's only on the one side. He still doesn't show any other signs of being ill. Though I just recently realized that he seems to scratch himself in that area more often than I see either of my other two cats scratching.

So, now I wonder if I need to take him to an emergency vet clinic. I called around to the vets in my area and they're all booked until next Thursday, and I'm afraid of putting it off that long.

I have sprayed her with medicine to prevent any itching. She has slowed down, but is still doing it. She started about 4 months and I cannot think of anything that would have upset her.

My cat plays outside most of the day and we have a commual garden shared by other apartments in the block. One of the residents has a big black cat and he is always chasing my cat around. Lately I have been hearing the loudest meows ever and it is the black cat meowing really loudly at my cat, almost in his face when my cat is sitting on the doorstep, he looks really frightend. He isn't eating much anymore either, are they just playing or is the black cat being mean to him?
