As long as that hill does not have coyotes, the kitten is probably close to your garage, scared. If there are coyotes, I'm sorry to say but your kitten is gone. Good luck.

kttens will crouch and stay hidden. its a survival instinct in the young to stay out of harms way. is mommy cat still around. if so take momma cat around the bushes or any other hiding area a kitten could fit in. if you want to find them when you approach dont call out to them as they will be silent . just approach and listen for little crys. hope this helps

Check your garage first. Then, check around your house. Get some neighbors or friends to help you look. Most cats and kittens won't go far.

DON'T WORRY PROBABLY HE IS JUST HIDING. THE FIRST TIME MY CAT LEFT I WAS REAL SAD BUT AFTER A WHILE HE CAME BACK. USUALLY WHEN HE LEAVES HE COMES BACK. DON'T WORRY CATS KNOW THEIR WAY BACK HOME. HE WILL COM E BACK ONCE HE IS HUNGRY.

They're hiding. Some snug, dark spot where they feel safe.
