Please get your cat fixed. The Humane Society if filled with unwanted cats/dogs.

they can come in heat shortly after giving birth. i would suggest if she's just recently had kittens keep her inside. The kittens should stay with mom for 8 weeks but at 6 weeks call the vet and set up a spay appointment in two weeks . If you get her spayed to early then you may have to takeover raising the kittens which means every 2-3 hours 24/7 feeding and getting them stimulated to go.

I have 7 cats - all outdoors. They will not go into heat again until the completely stop nursing the kittens. This normally is 8-10 weeks.

My mamma cat had kittens about 5 weeks ago and she is already showing signs of being in heat again. I believe it is usually inbetween 5-8 weeks.

Approximately 6wks, as soon as the kittens are weaned. If you so not want more kittens get her spayed as soon as the vet says to do it. They can come into heat every 2wks until they are pregnant again.
