Our Bengel had kittens on Tuesday night and her milk has dryed up already. What can I feed the kittens? My Bengel keeps coming to me and looking at me like "Do something"!
Can I feed them normal baby formula?

We have a lovely 1 year old female cat who is perfect in every way. Always been house trained and used her tray with ease. The last 3 months she has begun urinating all over the house in the most bizarre of places. These include inside my daughters shoes,on the window sill,on clothes,on the table etc. Why is she doing this of a sudden?? I am getting thoroughly fed up of finding things covered in very smelly cat wee!! In case you need to know she is an indoor cat and hasnt been spayed yet.Any advice would be welcome!!!

They have one stitch on their flank - but every time i take the collars off - they just try and yank the stitch out. How long before the incision has sealed? They are getting really grumpy.

I have a cat that has worms but the treatment takes 14 days. Hes been on it for 6 days, but he's still losing so much muscle and weight. He's eating and drinking quite fine, but the vet said it just takes time. He looks like he's running out of time. What is a good food/s or supplements to help the poor old guy from losing so much weight 'til he's all better? Dude will eat just about anything even veggies. Like a dog in a cat suit. He has a long treatment because he was so wormy they said a sudden or quick one would hurt him. These meds are supposed to kill all the worms cats get, but my main worry is he's got so skinny and weak.
No offense to vets, but ours isn't much help except in the money taking department.
Thank you from me and Nash for your help.

It is the most beautiful cat you have ever seen, pure black with piercing green eyes. It has no collar so it must be stray, it is finding food ok, but the side of it's face has mites on it. Me, being an all round animal lover, feel I should do something, but WHAT? There are 2 horrible cats next door to us, and they have already had a go at the cat before for passing on THEIR territory, its onjly time before they do it again. What shall I doo?!!!!!!!!

Recently I started to notice these little black bugs all over my cats bed. I know these are not ticks, but I can't figure anything else. They are everywhere, and I need to know if they will hurt kittens. Please help!! Oh, and they almost look like spiders. Thanks.

This has happened twice recently. One of my cats will, in the middle of the night, dart across the bed and into the living room, then lay on the floor and go into convulsions for a minute or two, and then get up and be dizzy and confused. One time she actually pissed herself. Has anyone heard of or experienced anything like this? At first I thought the other cat was chasing her and she smacked her head into something, but when it happened again I thought it was a little too coincidental.

Any advice?

Never did this before but we are moving across country with our cat, Domino, who is almost a year old. I know to get her records from her vet for the new place, but what about the trip there? A large cat crate? litter box? We have a mini van and one of the seats will be taken out for the trip.

My fiance and I adopted a kitten on Sunday from Petsmart. I was told the animals were brought over from a shelter for the day. We were told she was 8 weeks old and the contract states that. All this week we've been having problems with her. She's had diarrhea and for the past two days has not been active. Last night she stopped eating and she wouldn't take her formula, dry food, or wet food. I took her to the vet today and the doctor said she is only 4 weeks old! So she was a few days older than 3 weeks when we got her. Taking care of a 3-4 week old kitten is very different from one that is 6-7 weeks and just needs to put on a little weight. They can't determine what's wrong with her because she's too small for a blood sample. They're keeping her overnight and have been giving her fluids under her skin. I'm so angry that the agency would allow the kitten to be adopted and that they lied to me about her age!

He was at the vet two days ago because hes been peeing blood and frequently peeing all over the place, for three years--but it has gotten bad, i had my mom take him to the vet.He is terrified of the vet, they had to give him a mild tranquilizer just to take his blood-he is scheduled for this surgery on saturday, i am very nervous he is a13 year old cat, very healthy other then this problem, if anything happens to him i will really not know what to do, i dont lke to think of him as being alone at the vet and terrified--does anyone have any tips on how to calm myself when it comes to this, or does anyone know how serious this surgery is, he has to stay in the vet for two night after it---and will be on pain med. i love this cat with all my heart :(

On occasion we take a stray or two in and prepare them for a new home with friends looking for a cat. This particular cat has been on Advantage to prevent him from spreading fleas throughout the house. I have never heard of Advantage causing the above symptoms but now you know The Rest of the Story.

Does anyone have any experience of vets recommendations in the UK...personal experience?

Most information I have read suggests 6 months but I have also heard that it can be done much younger. The sooner it could be done safely for her the better...especially as we are moving to a house that is less secure and I am concerned she might escape!

My cat was vomiting and he was listless so I took him to the vet. She found a piece of dental floss wrapped around his tongue and it was going down into his stomach! He had surgery today and should be fine. Has anyone else had this happen?

I was taking care of my friend's cat for a while . At one point, I ran out of cat food, so I fed her tuna fish . I later found out that tuna is full of polyunsaturated fats which cats can't metabolize . The vegetable oil that tuna is packed in robs cats of vitamin E, and that can cause steatis . Why don't tuna fish labels say "Do not give to cats ?" . Is it so hard to put "Do not give to cats ?" on tuna fish labels ?

It punctured the heel of his hand. I called his doc and they said he needed another tecnis shot and to take antibiotics for 10 days. Also we have to keep the kitten that he caught for 10 days to watch how it acts before we can give it over to animal control (by the way animal control had been contacted twice to pick up these animals but has never kept their word).
So he had the shot yesterday, today he is in a lot of pain from that arm. Is this normal? I was just checking here because it is so early in the morning and the doc office hasn't opened. So all you that are concerned, don't worry I am calling a professional as soon as I can.
