cats eat bugs, there is no stopping that, it is a part of their nature,
they also eat little birdys, and snakes (and that scares the dickens outta me) bunnys, squirrels, chipmunks, mice and anything else they can catch.
they were made that way and it is natural for them.
your kitty will be just fine.

Squirrels are good for cats and are certainly more nutritious than many commercial cat foods. I'd say that you should feed your cat every day and that it can be very inexpensive to do so. Buy some chicken legs on sale and buy a small container of chicken liver. If they have chicken hearts get some of those too. Hack the chicken leg, uncooked, bones and all into chunks. Add a heaping tablespoon of raw minced liver to an average 12 ounce leg. Add a couple hearts if you have them. This should make 6 small meals, 3 day's worth, for the cat. If you plan to make more than 3 day's of cat meals you'll need to freeze them. Bear in mind that if your cat is eating wild prey then you need to get your cat wormed at the vet a couple of times a year. There are parasites cats pick up from eating wild prey.

No, silly! My cats eat them like every day don't ask me why but they just do it, they'll be perfectly healthy. Mine ate one of those creepy crawly earwig type ones with all the legs yesterday and she's fine. Yucko, right?

Your cat isnt going to die, and yes its perfectly healthy for it to eat bugs. Its perfectly healthy for you to eat bugs even. Probably wouldnt taste very good, but it isnt going to hurt you, and it isnt going to hurt your cat.
