Scientists have measured the brain waves of cats, dogs, humans and other species. As we know humans dream during rem sleep phases and other animals have similar phases it is presumed they do!

My young cat moves a lot in her sleep and sometimes growls, the 14 year old does it only rarely.
My dog runs a lot too, I wonder if she's chasing the cats????
