why does she have diarrhea only in the kitchen?
if she doesnt have it anywhere else i would not put her in the kitchen anymore!!
you can also try to make temp litter boxes out of other things.....maybe its coming out before she can realize this therefore she is just going
best of wishes

Poor kitty.
Bottom line is check with your vet who will probably want a stool sample (which kitty has made easy to collect). Chances are, your cat has eaten something he/she shouldn't have and it will pass in a day or two (no pun intended). In the meantime, make sure there is plenty of fresh water available so he/she doesn't dehydrate.
It's not that your cat doesn't want to make it to the little box but probably couldn't get there in time. The kitchen will probably not be the only place kitty will make this embarrassing mistake. Be prepared for a bit of a cleanup.

Lock the cat in the garage or basement for the rest of the day(or any other area of the house with a hard smooth floor that you can clean easily). Now comes the gross part--look at it--can you tell if she ate something odd? Gross part #2--clean it up--dry paper towels first, then wet paper towels, then something to disinfect the area. If it is a vinyl or ceramic floor, some hot bleach water will do the trick (wear old clothes).
If the condition persists, call the vet--or call the vet in the AM if you are nervous.

Make sure she didn't ingest anything. Please try and take her to the vet.It is very important, she needs you to intervene on her behalf.Until you can get her to the vet, give her Pedialyte.
It is a water that has electrolytes in it,you can find it in your local grocery store in the kids(or baby)section.Pick her up
and love on her, cats are very social animals. They like to be talked to,just like human babies.TRUST ME,YOU WILL GET A LOT OF LOVE FROM HER

Thank God its in your kitchen and not on the living room carpet. Get some toilet paper and clean up the main part of the poop and flush it down the toilet. Then I would spray the spot with bleach or a really good disinfectant and wipe it clean.

Move the litter box to the kitchen area.. Try to find out what she might have gotten into that would have given her diarrhea.

As opposed to any other room in the house??? Seriously, though, take a stool sample to the vet so they can check for parasites, and go from there.

It doesn't matter where it has it. Its why. Feeding it too much wet food? How long has it had diarrhea?Take a trip to the vet.
