My kitten Minx is the same way. She is 7 weeks old. Maybe our kittens should meet. Have a fight to the death. I find the best way to get her to stop attacking me is to wear her out with toys she can't hurt me with. I have a teaser that looks like a feather duster on a long pole. I hold it over the cat tree until she jumps up there then I move it to the other side of my computer chair until she runs over there. The first night I did this she was panting like a dog. But now she is more reserved. It helps her to stop attacking my feet at night.

Could it be possilbe that something is wrong with the kitten? Could she be hurting or sick and that is what is making her meaner than usual? She might also not be getting enough sleep, she is pretty young. It may also be a phase she is going through. She maybe smaller than the other kittens and having to fight to get her share of the food. I've got 5 cats/kittens and they are all different. They all have their own personalities. And I do have one that seems to always be fighting and not very interested in being patted or loved on. When she is sleeping, see if she appears to be resting comfortably. If possible, you might have her looked at by a vet to be sure she is medically ok.

playing with them and letting them bite you is cute when they are young but you are teaching them that it is okay to do this.
play with the kittie only with yarn or other kitty toys that she is interested in at her age.
never let her bite your hand, just pull it away and say no. cats don't do orders but its a help she will understand that word at some point.
she is really too young now to spritz with water or tapping her on the nose but you can start that in a few weeks.
be gentle when petting her and if she starts to bite then stop petting her and put her down.
also, if you are not familiar with this a cat's tail will start to move back and forth when he is not happy with the situation whether it is just alittle or a lot. You can tell the agitation of the cat by how wildly the tail swings.
you can tell alot by the tail so take notice on your kitties.
I have added a cute site that will help you with that feature.

You might want to think about getting another kitten. She is just acting how kittens do. Having two kittens can make things easier. but at the same time its twice the vet bill and twice the food and everything else. if she does it put her in another room away from people for awhile to calm her down. then once she is you can bring her back out. did you get any toys for her to play with?

Well she's a kitten she's just wanting to play, mine do this usually climbing up my pant legs, I find they like the little toys that rattle the especially like the little foam balls with the rattler inside you can pick up a pack of cat toys at walmart for a little bit of nothing, and the next time she attacks, just roll the ball infront of her this should distract her. Another distraction take a string or a shoe lace and dangle it in front of her, then drag it along the carpet infront of her she'll focus more on the string, and attack it.

I think she is just playing. Maybe we do not think it is fun to play her games. My kitty is now one year seven months. She still does the same stuff. I have been told when a kitten is raised by humans ,(has no litter mates) they don't know from birth what it's like to be pushed, stepped on, bitten, etc., by their
brothers and sisters so they think it's all fun and games. We don't do that to them as good pet owners, so they have no gage. Yours is still a baby. Don't expect to see much improvement until kitty is at least a year old. We can compare scars, etc., but the kitty is not evil. My mother on ther other hand... lol. Good luck and love to the kitty.

That's just a little kitty for ya. Trim her nails - get the vet to show you how if she's strictly inside. That helps with the pain, haha.
Otherwise, redirect her when she's doing someing like biting or scratching - use a toy!!

Wow, it sounds like she is neurotic. Are you sure you never tortured her. Animals are born naturally friendly and socialized to humans. When they start to show biting and scratching tendencies, you immediately put a stop to it, just by getting angry and saying "no". Their own parent will swat them or bite back when left among themselves, and in doing so they learn to fit in.
It is not late to put a stop to this. Do your job as responsible pet owner. It is ok if she only scratches you since you will forgive her right away. It will be harder when you have visitors with children who will want to pet her. Think probable lawsuit.

Definately do no longer do away with the kitten!! Kittens are consistently playful and hyper yet they are going to cool down. i could advise if the kitten is 6 months or extra, getting him spayed/neutered and front paws declawed. as quickly as you have them fixed, they are going to cool down ALOT. prepare the kitten with a squirt bottle. in case you do no longer choose it doing something, squirt at it. After some situations it in many situations gets the factor and could end. additionally do no longer flow away your infant unattended around the kitten. And at evening, save the kitten faraway from the toddlers room with the help of the two last the toddlers door and utilising infant video exhibit contraptions, or save the cat in yet another section the place it does not have get admission to to the toddlers room. (make valuable it has get admission to to its nutrition dish, water and clutter however for sure) My cats are very candy and that i do no longer think of they could be of undertaking to our infant. the only ingredient i'm in touch approximately is my 20 pound cat, he got here upon the crib and desperate to bounce in and sleep in it. could definately no longer be stable with a dozing infant in there!! besides, you additionally could make it paintings. Cats are a exhilaration....i like mine to demise.

I had a crazy cat like that before and actually ended up getting rid of her. She was literally climbing up the walls on the curtains. Try to calm her down don't rough house with her because that teaches that it's okay to mess around and hurt Hopefully she'll grow out of it.
