A small black male he is so small & cute. The mother had abanded him and his 3 brothers and sisters they all 3 died but he didnt. We didnt think he would make it neither did the vet but we've been fedding him and he's doing great. So i need to find a good name that suiets him. I dont like the the name Chance or Lukey i think those are more dogs names. Is if you think of any good names that would really help me.

My 4 month old black kitten that I rescued from the shelter's name is Joey. They had named him Midnite, which is also a good name, But I like Joey and I think he does too : ) He's 3 years old now.

You absolutely described a cat that I had years ago - he too was the lone survivor and black. The kids named him Lucky as he was lucky to be alive (one of my male coworkers found him, he was about 4wks old). My gut instinct when I first saw him was to name him Satan (don't really know why) and I SHOULD HAVE!! He turned out to be sooooooo mean! I finally had to give him away.

Jet, my cat is named Jet. He's black and does tricks too. He sits, gives you his paw, gives high 5's and also does bear attack on his hind legs. I named him in my sisters memory because we used to call her Joan Jet. When we got him and he was black it seemed like it should be Jet. Hope this helps. He's a great cat.

I think the name Shadow is perfect for a black cat!
I also think Shadow would make a good name because he almost didnt make it. Shadow means good and bad.
