Probably not a good idea...kittens are not like dogs, who like to travel. but if you insist on taking it out, get a good cage. I have a Sherpa....it's very convenient and soft

the first day i got my kitten i took him to walmart in my purse, and bought all the stuff he needed. from that point on he was always very glad to be with me anywhere i went. when he was not big enough for a harness i held on to him very well. they might try to escape. as he got a little bigger i got him a harness and leash trained him. he walkes very well on a leash and i have no problems. But the down side to this is that he has anxiety about me leaving him when i have to. he cries for at least 10 mins after i leave the house or the room for that matter. and now as an adult cat he eats all sorts of foreigner objects when i leave him because he is upset that im gone. so if you can handle those pros and cons it is very fun to take kittens in public.

You would need to train the kittens on a leash in order to be able to take them out. Also make sure they are fully vaccinated before being let outdoors. Cats can scare easily so I don't recommend taking your kittens outside in your arms, you may get scratched and the kittens might just get away from you.

Yes you can take your cat to the petstore in your arms if the petstore in your area allows it. I did it recently, I held my cat and had a harness around her so that when I had to set her in the cart to crab something, she couldn't go climbing into a shelf out of reach, because they're nervouse with all the animal smells and the new sights and sounds. They're out of their comfort zone. My cat found comfort in being near me, and it was very fun.

You can always take it out with you, but i don't think that it's a good idea. See, indoor animals are used to the quiet (of course that depends on your house) and once you bring it outside it might get scared or run away. cats like freedom and they don't like being grabed and carried around which might lead to having your cat scratch you so it could break free.

Have they been vaccinated?? You really shouldn't take them out of the house until they have been fully vaccinated against deadly diseases that they could possibly be introduced to in petshops and even your back yard. Some cats absolutely hate going places and would much rather stay at home where it is stress free. You'll have to see how your cat reacts to being in unknown territory. Good Luck

I know how you feel, I wanted to teach my kitten to go out on walks with me too. I soon found out that:
1. The kitten hates that. He was scared to death when I tried, he trembled, and it was a torture for him.
2. It is impossible to take him out with a harness. I bought one that looked really safe, but as soon as my kitty was frightened by sth. he got loose and run away. It is a miracle I managed to find him and catch him and he wasn't run over by a car!
3. Cats won't cuddle up with you if they are afraid, they will run away. So you risk losing them. They don't like to be carried around in the carrier either, they are so stressed.
4. All these stupid experiments of mine resulted in the fact that my cat is so scared of going out, that whenever he sees me ready to go out, he hides under the bed, scared that I might take him with me.
5. For all the above reasons, please leave your kittens safe at home!

Oh yeah, I have an indoor cat and I used to take her everywhere. Although I dont recomend taking her into too many public places. Just keep her on a harness and a leash at all times.
