I've heard some mixed things on the canned cat food. I'm pretty happy with the dry food I feed him (Hill Science for kittens). I want to make sure my cat eats well but I also don't want to go crazy spending money on it. Please suggest a good affordable brand. I don't know which ones are best. Once I have a better idea of what is out there I can probably get some cans in bulk from Costco. Thanks.

This is so touching and sad. The music is perfect for it too (Lee Ann Rimes, 'I Remember'). It already has won awards.

Your heart will go out to this little guy too:

My kitten went from being extremely shy to the complete opposite. The adjustment has been a little hard for me. I kind of miss him being a little more shy around me, to be honest. It can be really annoying when I'm home doing something on the computer and he'll all of a sudden jump on me. I haven't figured out a way to get him to stop doing this. Sometimes also I'm just hanging out on the couch and he'll jump on the couch. I don't always want him on the couch with me. What can I do?

My female kitten has just come into her first season and is crying all night. Neutering is not an option.
How long will the crying go on for whilst she is on season.?

Okay, before the pet lovers get all wierd about this, IM NOT interested in paying high vet bills on a cat i dont even own, but if i have even a ray of light showing shes pregnant, then ill take care of her (both by giving her a home, and a doc.) otherwise, its up for adoption

This morning, my 9 month old cat through up. At first, I thought he had eaten too much. He wouldn't eat for awhile, even though he kept going to his dish. Then, after awhile, he started eating and drinking. What is concerning me is this behaviour: he was sitting looking outside, and he saw a bug or something. He was reaching for it, and while he was doing so, his jaws started clacking together. Is this normal? It seemed like he had no control over it. Don't worry, I have made an appointment for the vet this afternoon, but I wanted to see if anyone out there has an idea about this.

He is 15 years old and is blind. Could that be the reason? Should I have cleaned it out?

My cat always has a sore butt, and we took him to the vet for it. The vet gave him something and said that'll help him out, but he's still licking his butt until it becomes really red and it bleeds. He's always licking and we even take him a bath just in case its something that he cant take away without washing. I don't know what else to do. Anyone can help or had/has the same problem with their cat?

Hello everybody.
I have a new kitten she's 2 months old and very cute, but I already have anoher cat and she's 1 year old. The thing is the new kitten wants to play with her, but she doesn't like her. I keep them separated because i'm affraid the oldest will bite or hurt her.

Do u know if this is just a stage and eventually they'll get along well?

I found an orphan kitten by the house. The eyes aren't open yet, and it was bloody and wet when I found it. I located the mother, a stray cat that had been hanging around for a few days, but when I introduced the kitten, she grabbed it and tried to choke it to death by biting it and swinging it around, so I'm caring for it. I've had it in the house for 2 days.

I bought kitten replacement formula and a small kitten bottle, but he won't feed from the bottle. I've been using a small syringe and giving it a drop at a time for it to feed. She takes about 1/2 a millileter each feeding every 2 hours. How can I get her to nurse from the bottle? Also, what is the best way to stimulate it to "relieve" itself? It hasn't for the past day, and even though I've tried gently rubbing the stomach, it doesn't seem to work. I don't want it to become impacted. Thanks for any advice (I've never cared for an orphaned kitten this young, so I'm inexperienced).

My cat, Callie had four babies about two weeks ago, (app. 16 days old), she's not making any more milk, and if she is, its not enough. What do I do? This is her second litter, and the first litter she only had three kittens and none of them survived. When I went to get her fixed, I found out she was pregnant again. All four lived, and our actually right on course with their development, but she isn't doing the milk thing right. I know she's suppose to wean them on her own, but not this early. Please help.

Well, my cat's three kittens are a month old, and I want to know their gender. I've looked up on google, and stuff like that--but I just get confused. I want to know if this is the right time to check their gender, and how to tell what their gender is. Thanks, everybody. (Please no confusing answers)

I have a kitten who's a few months old, and I need to get him declawed (just the front 2 paws) in order to keep him. I know many people think it's horrible and everything, so I'm not looking for speeches about how inhumane it is. I just need to know how much it costs, approximately, in Ontario,Canada. More specifically, if anyone is from there, in Ottawa.

Thank you!

Would they most likely come back or wouldn't they know the way cuz they've never been out b4? They don't really go for the door when some1 opens it but I just wondered if they would get out? My 1 cat won't come to you ever in the house he's not a cuddly cat and doesn't like to be bothered so I think if he got out he probably wouldn't come to me if I tried to call him.

I have just reserved a long awaited silver bengal kitten and i'm going to see her next week. I have already bought blankets and bedding for her - do you think that i should take along a blanket so that she can get her scents and smells on it so that when i bring her home in about another 8 weeks she will have something that she is used to, or do you think that it will make her miss her mum more when she leaves?

Our cat has just had an abcess. Understand how this happens, but do not understand from an evolutionary point of view why they do not clear themselves. These are common, yet dangerous and require treatment.

My cat, Rosie, cannot poo. She just can't. I've been giving her a trusted brand of cat lax every week and she is still having trouble. It's gotten so bad that she sticks her tongue out when trying to go. I know this is gross, but I need to know if this is something serious. I don't want to waste 70 bucks if I don't have to go. Advice would be great. Thanks.
