Ashes, Dusty, Stormy...anything that deals with grey will do.
I personally have named all my pets with people names, so that they feel more like a part of the family. I've had pets named Clyde, Lucy, Myrtle, Hannah, Ziggy, Elvis, Maggie, Candy, Gabby...you get the idea.
