Well, my cat's three kittens are a month old, and I want to know their gender. I've looked up on google, and stuff like that--but I just get confused. I want to know if this is the right time to check their gender, and how to tell what their gender is. Thanks, everybody. (Please no confusing answers)

Yes, you can sex kittens as soon as they're born. Testicles will not be present, but as people have said, the space between the anus and the genitals is a lot wider in males. Be aware that in male cats, the penis pretty much does look like a hole, especially when they're this young. The vulva of a female looks more like a slit than a hole.

Here's some diagrams to help:

At 5 months, if it incredibly is a male, you're able to have the capacity to work out if it has testes. yet in a distinctive thank you to tell is this: seem on the cat's in the back of. a woman's privates will appear as if an upside-down exclamation factor. A male's will appear as if a colon. ! or : desire this replaced into efficient.

Hold it upside down {not head towards the floor, but back to the floor :)}. If you hold it correctly, it's back legs should spread to the side. If there are just two holes, it's female. If it looks more like a triangle above the anus, it's male. Sorry that I can't explain it better.

A girl will have a little circle (anus) and a little vertical slit right under it (vagina.) A boy will have the same circle on top, but not much but fur below it, maybe a couple of bumps. Enjoy their kittenhood!! It never lasts!

With a kitten that young, if you turn it over on its back, look between its legs. then its easier to tell. than looking under the tail.

The easy way is to look underneath their rump on their stomach. if it has a tube (penis) then its a male, if it doesn't have a tube but a second hole above its anus (vagina) then its a female.
Or you should go see a vet to tell you its gender.

Look under its tail and you can see what gender it is.

there will be a much larger space between a boys anus and his urethra....the girls will be almost right under her anus. So, if you see almost no space between the two, it is a girl...if you see a definate space, it's a boy. If you compare them, it will be pretty obvious, even at their age. HTH
