They will be fine for now. Touch them all you want. A mother cat that knows you doesn't have a problem with you touching the kittens.

One thing I will remind you of however, as soon as the eyes are open and they are moving around a bit, move them. They will not know to go and use the litter and you will have a mess on your hands. Try using a box or something. Move them when the mother is around so she knows what is going on.

if you feel it is necessary you could but some bedding under there for her to use, she obviously feels they are safe there.

there are worse places she could have taken them, like behind the computer.

You don't need to worry about how long they will be there, they will let you know, at about 5 weeks they start to move around a bit more and a 6 they're running and playing and should be completely weened.

You just have to watch out of kittens wondering around the room.

It's ok to leave them under your bed, they probably feel undisturbed without the movement and light changes going on in your room. As for when they'll come back out, they'll come when they are ready. Keep an eye on them, if they have a change in health consult a vet.

If Momma Cat thinks it's okay, then don't worry- unless you plan to do something like move the bed. She'll bring them out when it's time.

Yes she and the babies will be just fine. She felt there was too much activity around her babies and wanted to put them where she feels they are protected.

Sounds fine. She'll be able to care for them just fine. If you are able, refer to the URL's below for info on caring for kittens.

they should be fine. she just wants a quiet safe place to look after her babies. make sure you keep checking them to make sure they are ok and doing well... just dont touch them for a few weeks.

That's fine. She probably just feels safer with them there.
