Okay, before all you "there's no God so there was no Great Flood" types start itching to finger your keyboards with the latest theory that the flood never took place, give it a rest. I'm sure you can find something else to do with your fingers for now. This addresses a different issue.

I was watching a program on the History Channel about studies done on the shape of the Ark and the needed space to accommodate the animals and food. Repeated, they stayed with the idea that it had to be a box. A box held the most, and flouted level, which would have prevented a lot of very sick animals, let alone humans. It would have also been the easiest to build, without the need to bend wood to fit a curved hull.

So, why do we still teach children that it was a boat? Don't they deserve receiving the correct info?

Is there really a difference between car oil and motorcycle oil? I looked at the back of a quart and it doesn't really say anything useful. Some websites have said that there's no difference, other than the extra $3 a quart. My owners manual says that I need oil that's aluminum friendly and doesn't have detergents. Aren't most motor oils aluminum friendly? I have a 2002 Honda Shadow VLX, if that helps.

How many of you like the rain? How does it make you feel? Right now, it's sprinkling and it's going to rain all morning. It makes me feel great and creative, energetic too. The office window in my house is literally open, and I tookd the screen out, to hear it. Everything is turned off except the computer and it's just so "spiritual" for me. How does it make you feel and how do you react?

My showers instructions say use a 6mm cable, which i have installed, and been using. But i have had frequent problems with the switch (pull cord) breaking (ive replaced it three times) and the wires over heating and creating a really bad odour. The ends of the wires insulation has melted etc, and i've reterminated them and it has happened again. Can i / should i use a slightly bigger cable? The run is only about 10 metres, free standing (not in conduit) in a loft cavity. and the shower has its own dedicated consumer unit

If he was too busy honoring his parents (from the age of 20 to 30 years !) to save hundreds if not thousands of “lost souls” from going to hellfire than shouldnt we reconsider the urgency of the Christian message ?

My flatmate was in bad mood with me so she told me not to ign ore her and when I went into my room she followed me althought I told her to go away she didnt listen so I puhsed her lightly in assertiveway...I felt like she was provoking me...She leaves in one week and I feel she had no right...I said sorry next day..But then we start to talk about deposit and she was sometimes ignoring me and I was so basically fed up of her I started shouting....Anyway I told her I didnt want to keep deposit and then I sent text to say I was sorry for rsuch a rifdiculous situation..

I feel like she must be happy to upset me before she leaves..

What do u think?

Over last two days it was only me who said sorry but she acts like she is really hard done by im just so sick of it...if i wanted to ignore her when she started to argue I had the right....??????

Can someone confirm for me that this is messed up reasoning. Ok, so I've decided to turn over a new leaf in my life and be more social etc. (If you see my other q's, you'll see where I'm kinda at in life.)

But um, I'm kinda hesitant to meet up with people or go to events etc. because I feel like I'm not currently very charming or anything like that, plus I'm not in shape etc. So it's a bit of a catch-22 where I'm like, I can't learn to be social until I *am* social, and I'm hesitant to be so until I've lost weight. Which seems like a bit of a vicous circle to me. It's a bit illogical but um, yeah, just confirming that it is a stupid way to decide whether to go out or not.
