I am a Korean-American woman married to a Korean-American man. Over the past year and a half, I have been studying abroad in Australia for my Master's degree, and for the most part living away from my husband, seeing him only once every 5 to 6 months. Living away, I had been very lonely, and ended up having a relationship with an Australian man (Caucasian/White Guy). I am currently back in the US for personal matters but I just recently realize that I am also pregnant (missed my period couple times so I went to check up and found out I'm 2 month pregnant). I am certain it is the Australian man's child since I had not had sex with anyone else for the past 5 months (and certainly not my husband). What should I do? I love my husband but I also love this Australian man (he is single. We never talked about being together or anything such as getting a divorce). As an added note, I also have one child, who I of course love very much, with my husband.

Penultimate can mean "second to last" in a series, but it can also mean "two ago" - eg "at our penultimate meeting ...". I'm needing a word that means "next but one" ... "subsequent" would only mean that if the next meeting had already been mentioned.

In a nutshell, our meetings are arranged well in advance. At a meeting, we'll already know the date of the next meeting, but will want to arrange the meeting after that. What should I put on the agenda instead of "Date of Next Meeting"?

Many thanks - in anticipation!

PS Isn't it time we had words that mean "the day before yesterday", "the day after tomorrow" and "the week after next"?

This might be a tough one.

It's a sci-fi/horror movie that was made between the late 50's to early 60"s. Filmed in B&W and the plot centered in a nuclear holocaust type of setting. The story took place in the Arizona or Utah mountain ranges where I recall that there was one and possibly two man-sized creatures roaming around the woods that surrounded a house, keeping the characters at bay. The house was "sanctuary" for a scientist, his daughter, and maybe up to four other characters. The mountain range kept most of the radioactive fallout from entering the valley. The only thing I can say for sure is that the scientist dies of radiation sickness around the time they get a faint radio signal that informs them of improved conditions. At that point only the male lead and female lead survive and the movie ends with them leaving the house.

Any help you can give will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have an old friend whom I haven’t had much contact with over the past several years due to respect/trust issues, sent me an invitation to her daughter’s communion. I have sent presents in the past out of good will to the little girl and have never received a thank you from the parents or the child. I understand the child is not at fault. Due to other plans, I can’t attend the party (phew). I wasn’t sure if I should send a card with money, just a card or nothing at all. Should I continue being the nice guy or tell them non-verbally that the gravy train stops here?
