Globalisation shouldn't necessarily lead to terrorism, but because at the moment it seems to try to push people towards one ideology to the detriment of their culture or pushes unfair trade agreements and rules onto people. People in the third world now often have seen on TV or in the cities the big difference between rich and poor and how they are not profiting from making big businessmen (& women) richer.
If you could see this kind of inequality and knew that there was no way of changing it, wouldn't you feel resentful? I feel a little resentful in that there is no way I could afford to buy a house in London (where I live) but know that if I worked in investment banking, I could change that. These people are living in a world where they have to send their children to work instead of school just to get enough money for the whole family to have at least one meal a day, and there seems to be no way of changing this, so they try to draw attention to this situation with terrorism, often now fueled by Islamic extremism.
