The problem with Iran having nukes is that they cannot be relied upon in the community of nations to do the right thing at the right time. While the Persians where a once mighty and proud people, leaders such as I-am-a-nut-job and the various I-told-ya’s have really undermined peoples confidence in Iran doing the right thing. It is one thing to castigate the united states for going to war in Iraq (for doing what they said they would do over 8 years of UN sanctions) and then not believe I-am-a-nut-job when he says he will wipe Israel or for that matter any one else he doesn’t agree with off the map. It’s a double standard and with the US being the second target after Israel of his stated goals, it’s probably in the worlds interest not to allow this to happen as when (for they surely will) the US retaliates for a nuke strike, everyone will be worse off.

Talk low, talk slow and don't say too much.

Because Iran and Isreal do not get along. If Iran gets a Nuke then there is a very very good chance Iran will send it over and blow Isreal completely up, or atleast have a weapon that could back up a major war. So pretty much with Korea-backed Iran and nuclear weapons could definately endarer the world with a possible World War III.

It is to do with the non-proliferation act that Iran signed with the United Nations and thereby is bound to its contractual agreement. And if they are truly in violation of that agreement (enriching uranium) it could be devastating for Iran.

Iran can see the possibilities of being attacked from all sides of its borders. Nobody wants to see a Nuclear armed Iran, because of it's ties to sponsoring terrorist and their activities. Not to forget harboring them like Ambassadors to the free world...yeah right you all lost your minds...it will NEVER happen in this near future or even further down the road without a massive nuclear attack on Iran happening.

Unfortunately, it has already begun Israel is ready to launch a nuclear attack along with the US if Iran continues on it's current course. I hope Iran's President will heed to it's own peoples voices that is against this President's actions. I can see both the US citizens and Iran's citizens are not supporting any of this on both sides, and wants to see their leaders ousted.

If the question is WHY THE US is pressuring Iran, then I guess the answer is probably because it wants to be, God forbid, the only/one of the only nuke powers. Israel is a political whore of the US anyway, so the US is not concerned about it.

For the life of me, I do not understand why we are wringing our hands and worrying about Iran having access to nuclear weapons. I don't know why we worry about North Korea either, for that matter. They are going to get them eventually. They are hell bent on it. Right now, they are simply pulling our strings and holding us hostage for as much political capital or money they can get from us for as long as we'll continue to pay the price. We need to ignore these people like we ignore the attention-seeking drunk blowhard at a party. If I was President of the United States, my diplomacy where nuclear weapons are concerned would be real simple. I would tell those countries that we do not care what you do, or what you spend your money on, or who you are allied with. I would tell them that they are absolutely insignificant to the rational, civilized world. Then, after I cut-off all monetary assistance from the United States, I would warn them and their citizens, in no uncertain terms, that should they pursue in their endeavors to rule the world, they better be very careful not to harm ONE American citizen. I would emphasize that should they do so, we will viciously take revenge and totally annihilate their country. Everything and everyone. Men, women, and children. War is hell. If they want to see hell on earth, then bring it on. That's what I would do, and I sincerely think it would put an end to all of this petty hate for people who are different from you. Look at the Japanese. They were humbled completely. Not on their knees begging for mercy, but prostrate, praying, and asking for forgiveness from their new god, the United States of America.

The reason why the U.S. won't leave Iraq is because Iran would invade... Iran's President is out of his mind.

They're not to have Nukes because they threaten to wipe their neighbor off the face of the map....not to mention their martyr mentality....something very unstable knowing a martyr has a finger on the button....sorry.
