6 divided by 3 equals 2
6 / 3 = 2
The numerator is the product of 2 times 3 equals 6.
When you multiply 2 times the denominator 3 the product is 6 in the numerator
6 / 3 = 2
Therefkore 6 / 3 equals 2 is a true statement

The physical significance of the operation of 7/0 could be restated as zero goes into 7 how many times? If you have a tub that holds 7 cubic feet (of water?) and start to fill it at a rate of zero cubic feet of water per minute, the accumulated water will remain zero forever (infinite time duration). Therefore 7/0 or 1/0, etc. have no reasonable definition because there is no practicable end point.

It's a good job its undefined, because otherwise all sorts of crazy things would happen:

divide through by zero

It's a basic and fundamental rule of math anything divided by zero is undefined.
In the world of calculus you can get an answer of sorts by taking a limit. To take the limit you set up an equation like this y=7/x then after solving your answer would be as x approaches zero y approaches infinity.

0 refers to infinity. anything devided by zero is undefined, not only 7. If you divide something by infinity .. the reslut is obviously infinity. For example imagine dividing all the positive numbers by all the negative numbers ....the result is inifnity .. it is Impossible to know since numbers never finish
