Would they most likely come back or wouldn't they know the way cuz they've never been out b4? They don't really go for the door when some1 opens it but I just wondered if they would get out? My 1 cat won't come to you ever in the house he's not a cuddly cat and doesn't like to be bothered so I think if he got out he probably wouldn't come to me if I tried to call him.

They are about 10 mths old and fixed. They do come to the sound of the treat can shaking sometimes. My not so lovey cat is only cuddley when he thinks ur sleeping & crawls up and lay's right against you. It's like he's too tough and won't admit he needs love too. ha! He's not mean just not a lovey dovey cat. They are spoiled rotten! We love them so much. And the funny thing is I hated cat's til my kid talked me into 1 (then another) I would just die w/out them now! :)

Don't think kitties will stray to far even If they go out because they will always want to eat never had 2 chase it down, but I could be wrong, I wouldn't worry too much about the male because if he is neutered then I would think he would tend to be anti-social anyway.

Well do you live in town? or in the country?
And how close are you with ur cats? You might want to teach your cats something they will want to come to. For example i have a bunch of cats(because i live on a farm) They usually come when i say "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty". And some of them do know they're names as well. Another way to call your cats it by shaking a bag of catfood (or whatever kind of food you give them.) But most likely, if your cats have a good thing going for them, it is kind of unlikely that they'll run away. Unless they aren't getting fed or they're being abused.
But it seems that ur one cat (the not cuddly one) needs to be bonded with. Maybe give him treats once in while? Buy toys for him? Well...thats all i can think of.. ^^
(P.S.: And if they do get out, or if you let them out stay with them. They might get scared and if you leave them unsupervized there is the possiblilty of it running away)
I hope this helps.. c:

It's always safer to let them out under your supervision, otherwise they won't know about cars and get run over, won't know about dogs and get eaten, if you are holding them while outside and let them hear cars, they'll dislike it and avoid them, if they see dogs instinct will kick in and they will not like dogs and avoid them.
Too few people think to teach their cats anything, then are mortified when something happens. And it's normally something that can so easily be avoided.
If your cat is an inside cat, they are less likely to roam, especially if they have been shown the dangers of outdiirs, it's those that aren't that are at risk. Hope your cats are fixed, they'll be less likely to stray too.

Most likely the cat would return. Even if your cat does not desire human comapanionship, I'm sure he will return for food. My inside cat got out for the 1st time a few weeks ago. She was gone for about 2 days and then returned. Now we are just waiting to see if she is pregnant because she was in heat when she left and not when she came back.

Once when our inside kitties got out, they freaked out because the outside was nothing like what they were used to. Fortunately, they let my husband and me pick them up and carry them back inside. We haven't had to worry about them running for the door since then.
Your kitties might come back- but there is a chance that they will be too scared to move.

Make sure they don't get out. If they've never been out they might get startled and just bolt or run under a car. They probably would also be defenseless against dogs. I'm sure they'd find their way back though if they were still alive and not too afraid to move from wherever they hid away.

Unless your cats are fixed - neutered or spayed, that would be one reason they would run, another is they wanted outside to go run & play ! Cats are very self sufficient & independent - no one really owns their cats, so don't worry ...they really do know how to take care of themselves unlike dogs, etc & will probably come home on their own if they choose to :)

even indoor kitties should have adequate identification so if they escape they can be identified. They are sneaky and it is quite scary for both the animal and the owner to not know where your 'kid' is.
Also indoor kitties will often hide if they get out cuz they seem to realize AFTER they escape they didn't really want out.
