It can be hard to tell in the early stages, but if shes further along you could feel knot-like bumps in her stomach, that sometimes move. Also you can tell if she's about to have them within the next day or so, by feeling her teats to see if they're swollen. By the way thanks for caring about her and her possible babies. It shows great character on your part :)

What makes you think she might be pregnant??? Some cats are just overweight. However, a good way to check ,(if she lets you), Is to feel her belly gently. Sometimes you can feel the kittens. Also, are her teats extended and leaking slightly? Does she look as if she is totally bored and just wants to lay around or hide? Is she very uncomfortable with being picked up? Does she "meow" constantly? Note: If she seems to disappear for a great length of time you might want to start listening for tiny little "meows". By the way, I do hope you have her inside the house or somewhere where she is warm and dry ans out of harms way.

hi there if high bills causes you fever than give the cat to a vet before you get a whole family of cute kitties and after a while a jungle of turning jumping running cats in your home. I know my daughter had about almost 20 something cats in her home. how and why ? cause she said or look how cute when they are born but they grow and grown more cat hair it's a miracle she is breathing . cause cat with other cats u end up with the world of cats in your hands. so off to the vet unless u have mices or large rats the smell of cat will scare them away.

be well be safe

If she is a friendly cat list her as FOUND in your local paper, then take her to get spayed immediately! That will save you multiple headaches all the way around. Or if you are unable to do this take her to your local SPCA. They will spay her and find her a good home. ONE adult, intact female cat can be the beginning of 40 or more cats in one year's time.
FOR INSTANCE...
January 1..... cat gets pregnant
March 4th..... 5kittens are born 3female 2male (6cats now)
March 20th.... Female one pregnant again
May 15th ...... 2nd litter born to Female one 4females 1male (11cats now)
May 30th........Female one pregnant again
July 15th....... 3females from litter one pregnant
August 4th.....3rd litter for Female one 2females 3males(16 cats now)
August 20th...Female one Pregnant again
September20th... Litter one fems give birth total of 15, 10 fem and 5male (21 cats now)
October 1st... Litter 2 females pregnant
October 15th...4th litter for Female one 4females 1male (26 cats now)
November12th.. Female one bears 3females and 1 male (30 cats now)
December 3rd.. Litter 2 females birth total of 20 10female, and 10male (50 cats now)

This is just a typical year in the life of a cat. And the numbers are conservative. Cats can bear anywhere from 1 to 8 kittens at a time, though most strays usually have somewhere between 3 and 5.
I said all that to say SPAY HER NOW whether she is pregnant or not. It sounds cruel, but this time of year, you can almost guarantee that an unaltered female stray cat, either is pregnant, or has very young kittens.

But you are doing so much even by putting her up for adoption! Some vets do a reduced fee for spaying if the cat is not yours, ask around different vets and clinics. I used to do this in AZ, and in many cases the cost was $20.00 to 50.00.

it would not count number number if she's pregnant or no longer. Bleeding is continuously a severe situation that calls for a vet's interest. Please do even if is critical to have your cat treated by a vet. you are able to ask your interior of reach take care of about low fee concepts. you are able to set up to make funds which include your vet. you are able to practice for carecredit. you are able to cancel your internet or cable service and use that money to pay for her care. you've a large number of concepts. Your little lady relies upon on you. do not enable her down.

If you are not interested in vet`care, call a cat rescue and let them take over. If she IS pregnant, your vet bill will be alot higher then just for her to be checked out.

Well if the stomach is kinda pouchy then possible. Feel around GENTLY to see if you can feel any kittens... also see if she has any milk at all. Hope this helps but cats are really hard to figure out!

Take her photo and post it around where you live and shop.
Hopefully the owner will see it. The owner must be devestated about not having her cat.

she will get fatter and increase eating and drinking and her nipples will be pinker and more visible than usual and she maybe more affectionate! if you feel her tummy and it feels like there is little balls moving inside than she is most likely pregnant
