If you can't put your car in a garage, why not buy a cover for it? Other than that, there is no way I can think of to avoid the footprints and scratches.

well i had a different problem but i think this may work for your problem... my cat would always try to climb on the christmas tree so whenever she would get close to it one person would hide and they would either clap there hands or get then newspaper and they'd either clap there hands real loud or smack the newspaper on the wall and it would scare and we would do that each time she would think she could climb that tree and it worked she never tried to go up that tree again every year we would get a christmas tree... and we had another problem before that and we tried everything it was in the summer and we tried everything so then i got a squirt botle and would squirt her then she would leave it alone so try one of those to personally i like the squirt bottle cause it works faster! GOOD LUCK!

verify the cat can't get into the storage. it extremely is totally perplexing to end them while they start. even with the undeniable fact that, you will possibly be able to desire to get a bottle packed with water and spray the cat each and every time you notice it on the motor vehicle. additionally i think of they have repellents on the puppy save, you will possibly be able to desire to get a number of that and spray it on the precise, i could do merely a attempt spot first on a similar fabric if it incredibly is a fabric precise or call the organization who makes the repellent and ask them if it extremely is secure on regardless of your precise is. additionally, if it extremely isn't any longer your cat, attempt making a mattress in a field for it instead or something like that, get some cat treats and placed them interior the field conventional. after a little while between spraying while he's on the motor vehicle and treats while he's interior the field he gets the assumption of the place he can and can't lay.

My cat loves it up there too. Unless you put a repellant on your car or a scat mat ( which you have to plug in and roll out on top of your car), Theres is really not much you can do except keep him inside when your home.

cats like to jump on cars because they stay warm after you've parked them. try covering your car with those plastic covers. i never know how to keep my cat off the car especially in the winter. but the plastic cover will prevent scratches and footprints.

when i got two kittens they always climbed on our plants and trailed dirt all over the house. this may seem mean, but what we did was sprayed them with water everytime we caught them doing something bad. if that doent work try covering your car with something or putting it in a garage

Have you tried talking to him? Cats like high places and up there is where he can look around above everything else.
There is most likely nothing you can do.
