I'm afraid to feed my kitties anymore, do you know if Whiskas is still safe? There are so many brands out there contaminated now, it's awful! My cats are doing alright on Whiskas so far, but there are more reports of tainted food every day, I have been thinking maybe I should cook for them for awhile until things straigten out? Do you cook for your kitties?

I have been looking for a certain cat for a while that cost around $1000-$2000, and today I found one for $500, but the breeder said it had a few ulcers on her eye. Should I not buy her for that reason, I don't thing I will find another good deal like this!

i'm taking my cat to the vet tomorrow, but would like an idea if possible of what it might be.
Two nights ago, first noticed "droopy" eyes. Kind of blinking alot, but no discharge. Two days ago, she stopped eating and drinking. Now, she only sleeps and eats little bits of food out of my hand (tuna). She walks really stiffly and fell over when she tried to jump on the chair. Has a fever, but no sneezing or runny nose. Very small intermitent eye discharge. I'm so sad and I can't pay the vet much. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
thank you....please email me if u need more info.

I shouldn't let them breed I think I rather have the Manx cats safe then die early so I think ill just get them both desex I want them to live long and happy.... I 've got one more question I want to know are these cats good for outdoors and I don't mean the night time I would never leave animals at night and I have research they are prefer to be indoor cats cause of outdoors could give them diseases, what type of diseases and how does this disease effect this breed and what type of Vactasion would help to protect them. What cancer effects them the most and how to prevent it??

My wife and I are tired of him. He is 9 years old.
We won't abandon him or do anything we would regret,
so what choices do we have?

Here's his story:
When we went to the vet to get shots, he was scared and wouldn't sit still. The vets decided they would give him the shots at all costs, so 2 of them put on leather arm covers, held him down, and gave him the shot. I could hear him screaming from the waiting room, and it was so horrible sounding that I barged in. He was so traumatized he had urinated and was huddled in it. He has been afraid of strangers ever since. He sometimes scratches at people. He scrathed my wife on the head a few days ago (thinking she was the guest we had over).

Anyway, we are sickened by what the vet did to him; it ruined him.
But because of it, we don't want him anymore.
What are our humane options?

It died a while back, I just really wanna know what from.
One night I let her out, because she was urinating in the house, and she was attacked by a dog.
I let her inside and she went straight to the bathtub and layed down. She was walking fine, but a few days later, her abdomen was inflamed. It was fleshy and bald.
I took her to the vet and she said it was an infection eating her organs. Please tell me if you know what it is!!
