Raw bones are soft, not brittle. It's the cooked bones that splinter. Cats who eat mice regularly eat the bones as well. Of course, chicken bones are considerably larger than mouse bones, however, feral cats eat rabbit and their bones! In the raw diet I feed my cats, to be safe, I grind the bone in a grinder, and let them exercise their jaws and shearing teeth on large Meat chunks (the rest of the ingredients are ground up with the bone). Perhaps cats who've been very accustomed to hunting and then eating prey would safely be able to manage even the larger chicken bones, but I don't want to take a chance - hence, the grinding.

NEVER give ANY animal COOKED bones of ANY kind. Especially chicken bones. Cooked bones splinter and will block or pierce the organs, and will have to be surgically removed or it will be fatal. Raw bones are fine for most, but I wouldn't reccomend them anyway, because of the chance of the animal swallowing a large piece and still becoming blocked.

You shouldn't give ANY animal chicken bones. They splinter and can puncture their little insides on the way down. Cats don't have teeth for grinding, either, so they swallow their food in chunks. Bad Bad Bad idea!!! NO chicken bones for the babies.
Also, make sure they steer clear of anything "onion" related (onion powder, flakes, etc.) as that's toxic for them. This would include any flavorings in baby food, sauces, gravies, etc. that they might encounter from "people food" treats.

That is true you should not give cats chicken bones because they can break off in their throat and they can choke on them and get very sick.

You shouldn't give cats or dogs COOKED bones. They become dry and will splinter.
Raw meaty bones are ok though. Uncooked bone is flexible. But it's best to supervise your cat when you give them a bone to gnaw on.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with chicken bones in particular.

Cats and dogs should not have any type of animal with2 legs. A chicken bone can slinter and as it passes through the intestines it will slinter and tear them open and that can kill an animal

I wouldn't give chicken bones to a critter - they can either get lodged in the throat and choke the animal, or splinter and get stuck, and it can't be comfortable to have a bone shard stuck in your skin.
