My girlfriend doesn't want me to declaw him in case he gets attacked, but hes a fast runner, i know, you should see the little bugger jet when i chase him and grab his tail. But he just got me real good and now i'm bleeding, so he goes to the vet tomorrow. Might as well get his jewels lobbed off since he's there too. Thanks people.

Pull his tail again and I'll scratch you myself! Do you understand me?

Dont get him declawed especially if you let him go outside. Your girlfriend is right. Your cat will be the one bleeding if you get him declawed. Trim the cats nails once a week. Dont pull the cats tail and maybe he wont claw you! Would you like it if someone pulled your tail? Dont declaw him just so you can continue to amuse yourself, rendering him helpless to defend himself!

No, do not get him declawed. Declawing throws off their balance and cause joint problems later on in life. There is a simple solution to get him to stop scratching you when you pull his tail.... Stop pulling his tail.
As for the neutering part, that's fine.

When you pull his tail, it hurts. So, he's going to retailiate by clawing and biting you. If you declaw him, he'll only bite you. And you will leave him defenseless outside, he will be unable to protect himself or even climb something to escape attack from another cat or a dog. The only solution, is to stop hurting him by pulling his tail. If someone kept doing something to hurt you, you might retailate too!

The cat is probably running so fast cause it knows you're going to hurt it by pulling it's tail. Cats have few defenses, their teeth and claws - if you are pulling it's tail and it scratches you, it's trying to ask you to stop cause it hurts. Are you stupid? God bless your girlfriend for staying with you, personally dumb guys aren't my thing.

Pulling the tail is NOT NICE! Can you really blame him for trying to get you to stop it? Chasing him isn't nice either!
P.S.Tell your girlfriend she is completely right about declawing cats. I applaud her and encourage her to break up with you if you declaw your cat (not really about the breaking up :) ).

Well you should stop pulling his tail first genuis. Second, no you should not declaw a cat. It is cruel and inhumane. It is the equivalent of having the tips of your fingers cut off instead of clipping your nails.
btw, you're a complete MORON!

Your cat is doing this because you are hurting it. Your are essentially pulling on its spine. If it is just wild I would first get it spayed or neutered. That should calm it down. And if you do decide to get it declawed only do the front in case it gets outside so that it can defend itself. When you are pulling on its tale it would be the same thing as someone pulling on your leg. If you are like everyone else that wouldn't feel to good.

Yes, get him neutered. No, do not get him declawed. Stop pulling his tail. Quit being an idiot. Problem solved.
