My cat, Rosie, cannot poo. She just can't. I've been giving her a trusted brand of cat lax every week and she is still having trouble. It's gotten so bad that she sticks her tongue out when trying to go. I know this is gross, but I need to know if this is something serious. I don't want to waste 70 bucks if I don't have to go. Advice would be great. Thanks.

TAKE HER ASAP!!

She could die if she does not deficate (poop)
If she can not deficate she can not remove toxins from her system and they will eventually kill her. Plus ATM she is in a lot of pain. (she might not show it tho)

This is not something you can fix at home.

Yes, you should have taken her to the Vet within the first two or three days.
NEVER wait longer than that to take a cat to the Vet if it's having trouble going to the bathroom.

You're talking about the life and health of another living being, so you're not going to "Waste" the money.

The cat NEEDS to be seen by a Vet ASAP!

She may have an Urinary Tract Infection. How old is she? Also, what kind of food does she eat? Run-of-the-mill food may be ill to her.

My oldest cat, Trigger had an URI after laying around the house, not eating or using the litter box. I spent about $2,000 on him, but it was worth it.

Don't delay -- take the cat to the vet.

I think you should change the food. Give her something else for a while, but if it does not change very quickly, you have to go to the Vet.

I'm guessing she has a blockage caused by fur balls or she has eaten something. If this is not corrected you are going to need a shovel to dig a grave for her.
