I do everthing i can to stop this hair every place i look it's all over my clothes, my carpet, my freineds and family always say they hate it at my apt. because when they leave they have white cat hair on them. I am going nuts. I don't ever like the cat, but i don't have the heart to get rid of her. It's a daily job to keep the hair problem down. And i'm losing.

Leo, my sweet kitty, came down with a cute overloadever a couple of days ago...I was worried he wasn't drinking enough because his fur started to look strange, etc... Anyway, I took him to the vet yesterday, who confirmed that Leo was dehydrated... he also had a mild respiratory infection with almost none of the symptoms showing. Anyway, they injected him with fluids and something to take down the fever and he was GREAT after that. Now I know the fever is back, and I was told to expect that, but I'm worried he's not drinking enough again. I tried putting extra water in his food but he only wants so much of it. Is there any trick anyone knows to encourage my cat to get more fluids?

The babies were born on February 1st. They will be 5 weeks old this week. So far so good.....but I'm afraid of having to do the inevitable; separating them from their mom as I find them homes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I've become emotionally attached to them too...so any hints on how to help the mom's mom would be nice. :-)

He's about 8-10 weeks old we just got him this weekend. My boyfriends brother adopted our cat Smokeys brother the same day & he brought him over to our apartment and our kitten was fine, he didnt attack us or anything but when the other kitten isnt there he attacks my feet and hands ALL THE TIME and he digs his claws into our pants and climbs on us until he gets to our shoulders. When we're eating dinner he climbs up our legs, he meows constantly if my boyfriend & i arent sitting next to each other. Or if im in the kitchen he sits at my feet and looks up & whines at me. He is constantly biting & attacking us i dont know what to do!?

I am very bias when it comes to my cats. They are my kids and I don't know what I would do with out them. I want to know why your cat is so special to you and what you love about them.

I think she was in a fight - not sure, and her right eye where the pupil is suppose to be black, is now grey and speckled with what looks like greeny, grey-ey, yellowey little specks.... can anyone diagnose the problem? I can't afford a vet. She seems fine, (not bumping into things or anything) but I can't really tell. She eats fine, she plays and is really gentle, but it's been like this for months!

I really don't k now why she does this. First it would happen when she would eat things that she shouldn't. Usually she would work it out of her system, but lately she's not eatting anything that she shouldn't and it continues. Does anyone have any ideas what to do besides taking her to the vet? Should I be getting her that "kitty grass" or something like that?

I'm not sure how this got started but they both look forward to eating some dog food when I put it down. How do I stop this and is it all that bad for them if they do eat a few pieces. Yes I give them their own can and dry food at free will. Any suggestions or comments of the same would be helpful.

We adopted a 3 year old female tortie from a shelter a couple of months ago. She had lived there for a year and was free to roam around the "cat room." She had plenty of other cats to play with there. She is very sweet and playful, which we love. The problem is, no matter how much we play with her, she wakes us up (particularly me) throughout the night. She sleeps with us and is constant rubbing and licking my face throughout the night. She is also very talkative in the early mornings. I can't take it anymore- I don't get any sleep! Do you think getting another cat for her to play with would help? Or do you think that would just make her cling to us more? We are gone from about 8am to 5pm, but I come home for lunch for about 30 minutes, which she's always really happy to see me. If we should get a cat, should we get a baby/adult, male/female? Please help!

I know my male cat has never been effected by all that orange junk, he would lick it and stuff. Other orange things he didn't mind. But now he was trying to eat unpeeled oranges *sighs*

Right what do you do when you go round your neigbours house to babysit for some pocket money and when you have finished babysitting you are plastered in a load of flea bites. They have cats (outdoor) and I am pretty sure its them. But I put them outside when I am in the house but still get bitten, what shallI do? I dont want to make up excuses as to not babysitting, nor do I want to say I think your cat has fleas, nor do I want to be bitten. :S Is thee any sprays or cream i can use because they only go for my ankles.

my friends mother has found stray kittens under her deck, we live in canada and it is very vry cold. the mother cat is present. i can only take one kitten to my house ( were not even aloud to have pets) how can i tell how old the kittens are ust by looking at them? if they are less then 6 weeks would it be better to leave the kitten with it's mother and posably die of exposere ( or not i dont know how harty kittens are) of would it be better to take it home away from it's mother and i could supplement it (would infant formul work?) and finally would a stray kitten be a good pet? or would it avoid humans? finally what should i do with the rest of the kittens?

She eats really fast(fat cat) when i walk in the room where her food is(so i will fill it up again), and then she throws it up like thirty minutes later. The food is still whole when she throws it up.

My wife and I are thinking about buying a cat and I want some opinions on the best breeds. I used to have an American Shorthair that I loved. I would really like a cat that is unique (like the bald ones) but my wife doesn't want one that is ugly looking. I think ugly can be cute. Anyway, I would love some suggestions as well as any helpful websites when it comes to making this decision easier. Also, if anyone knows any good cat breeders, that would be helpful as well.

Thanks

I am moving into a home who had 3 cats. It does not smell like urine however whenever I come into the house, you can tell that there are cats there. I have heard of air fresheners but I am not looking to "cover" the smell...I want to eliminate it all together.
