Our cats a very very special! They belonged to our daughter when she was a newlywed. Tragically, our daughter died in a car crash. When her husband decided to move on, his plans did not include the kitties. We adopted them. Together (us and the cats) we comforted each other through our loss. OH YES!!! They missed her terribly. They had bonded with our daughter. With the passing of time they have become our life, and they love us, too!

I have a 6 yr old himalayan. She has been my companion for the last two 1/2 yrs. She's affectionate, loving and then she's also moody and very opinionated. I love her because of all her traits.

I have one, Phantom. I consider him my child like you do. he is my first pet that is mine only-i now live alone after always having family dogs. He is just adorable,so soft & pretty, so cool & well behaved-he really is like a dog. He is kind of a lazy bum who sleeps on my bed wayyy more than me, but i must say he now has a great life after being rescued from a dumpster. I also don't know what i would do if i lost him.

Sophie is a drama queen who is enrolled in acting classes and beauty school (in her head). Everything she does, you just know she's working up a scenario in her head about it. She loves to look at herself in the mirror. She's so vocal, I'm actually trying to teach her to say "mama."
Poppy is just a big fat furry ball of warmth. She doesn't say much (she's of the Maine Coon variety) but she's with me every step of the way, carefully avoiding eye contact. She's my little autistic bunny.

There are no good cats, but I did hear once that the only good cat is a dead cat, however.
