Me and my girlfriend adopted a 1 year old male cat about 2 months ago. It has been such a great addition to our house since then. The cat is really friendly, is never tempermental, and rarely gets into any trouble. Recently, we have been thinking about getting another cat. The main reason being that I work full-time during the week and my girlfriend does the same so the cat is alone for at least 8 hours a day. We were thinking recently of getting another cat so that our current cat wouldn't be so bored during the day and plus it'd be nice to have two cats. We're just worried if they will get along or not and if they will cause a lot of trouble. Does anyone have any advice or opinions? Thanks.

I noticed my cat was throwing up her food first then it was like hairballs. She's been drinking water but you can tell she's uncomfortable. She doesn't have an appetite but I made sure I gave her some baby milk. She's alert but distant. I am hoping the hairball medicine will help.

I am sick now (coughing & sneezing) and my husband was sick b4 that. She was spayed exactly a week ago today (recovered TOTALLY FINE)
No other symptoms, just tiny sneezes with little kitty spews.
Do cats catch cold? Oh, shes about 3 and we have 3 other fixed males that are fine...

Wallie

Meekoe
Pongo

Zues

Spencer sometimes called Spence
Griffin sometimes called Grif

You may also give me any other suggestions for a name for my little kitten. Please keep in mind I am not getting that exact one, just looking similar to it. Thanks!!

If you had your cat neutered, did it take a couple days for it to be normal after the anesthetic? My cat got neutered yesterday morning and all he is doing still is sleeping... and sleeping... and purring... and sleeping. Just wondering how long is takes for them to get back to normal (hes usually a little hellion!)
Thanks!

How should I get back at a Cat Killer? My neighbors are killing the neigborhood cats. I really hate animal killers. I wish they would just move away but they are old and stubburn asses who are rich. We already parked my husbands ugly truck in the front of their house and we give them dirty looks every chance we get but they still dont move. I Just wish I could get some proof that they really are the cat killers in the neighborhood. Any suggestions?

My male cat refuses to eat dry food, and I feed him at 5:30, as soon as I get home from work. I give him a full can of food and he seems to get full from that. But lately at around 7am Snuggles will sit in front of my bedroom door crying constantly for about 45 minutes until I get up. When I go to look if he had no food or water it turns out that he has plenty of both.
Do you think that I should feel Snuggles another can of cat food in the morning too now before I go to work? Or maybe give him half the can in the morning and the other half after work?
Thank you in advance for your help.

No, no, not the elizibethan collar, that won't work. My cat Misty has a bald patch just above her tail from scratching to much, yanking out hair, etc. I need a way to stop her from scratching it so the hair can grow back in. The bald patch is literally six inces long going up all the way from the base of her tail, and one and a half inces wide all across. She is an outdoor cat, so the elizebethan collar (you know, the white cone) that vets put on them is not an option for us. Taking her inside is not an option either, because of my mother. Please help!

My cat meows way too much! She is about 3 years old, spayed, gets tons of attention, and always has food and a clean litter box, everyday. I don't understand why she's meowing and she does it all the time. Is there something else I should do to help her stop meowing so much?

My sister and I each have a cat. the last 2 times it was time to change out the litter box it was her turn. and each time she emptied but never put litter or litter liners in the litter boxes. She does this every time. The thing is 99 percent of the time I feed the cats and I give them water and i Just don' think its fair to the cats or me how do I talk to her.

This is really getting bad. My kitten is somewhat of a needy baby and when I'm at the computer he will attempt to crawl up my leg. Since he had success when I was in jeans he now tries this on bare legs! ouch! he makes me bleed and I grab his paw and say no sternly but he'll just do it again. Do you really think I should spray water? Will he eventually learn? Because right now he is peaceful and happily purring to have gotten into my lap, but when he gets desperate and needy to be "up" he'll just lash out.... And yes I play with him regularly so he's not starved for attention.

I think that cats like milk but is it really good for them to drink.
I figure that if she eats it it's fine thats okay with me but if she will live longer then that is the key.
