I have a cat that is orange tabby in color (polydactyl) and his name is Tiger ( I didnt name him... too common of a name in my opinion... Sometimes he gets called Tiger-Boy or Simba)! I recently just adopted a 6 month old female kitten (calico) and I named her Nollee (nole-lee), I got the idea off of the Pac Sun brand "Nollie", I changed the spelling and pronounced it a little different! I like her name because as far as I am aware it is very uncommon (so the vet has told me)! If I wasnt to name her Nollee she would have ended up being... Cali, Roxy, Isis, or Lola! Im glad I chose something original! Search cat names on google or yahoo! I also was looking for egyptian and greek god/goddess names (something different)! I think you should name your kitten something that suites you instead of being persuaded by everyone else! I think Mokey is a cute name! Congrats... Kittens are a blast!!!

Well I have four cats. They're names are Millhouse (A.K.A. Mr.Kitty) Moonlight Gypsy and Happy.

Really you just have to think of names. Once you think of a name that you like it will stick in your head. Or, at least, that's what happened to me. You could also look around your house. Especially the kitchen. My teacher has an orange cat named Marmalade.

Good Luck!

Watch to see what kind of personality your kitty has. If you do this, you will have a name that really fits your kitty. I have an orange kitty at home as well and I named him Apollo. I watched how he acted and saw that when he jumps he kinda flies at the same time. My other kitty also named himself. He's black, but he loves to cuddle with me, so his name is Cupid. The names are perfect for them because they fit. Good Luck with the new kitty.

i'm happy you're thinking a black kitten - such truly some human beings stay away from black cats yet i imagine they are suitable. the numerous issue is to %. one it truly is loving and affectionate. supply the kitten some days with you before you call her - it may help you come back up with the acceptable decision once you spot her personality. ensure you get her to the vet for her first verify-up and photographs. more suitable positive yet, undertake from a rescue team that has accomplished all that for you and also you gained't have any surprises. And please, please, get her spayed before she is six months previous. after all, the perfect black kitten I rescued and followed out became named Raven, like the black chook.

I've asked this question on yahoo answers a few days ago. Someone said that i would be better to wait a while and see what the kitty's personality is like. Then name it.

You really have to spend time with the kitten. If you do that, the perfect name will come to you
Congratulations!

i think you should get it for a couple days & see what the personality is like, then go from that. Mine is Phantom, cause he disappeared for a day when i 1st got him (he was feral)
