I have quite a few cats, male and female, all of which have been spayed and neutered. The problem is that a couple of male cats still spray! Unfortuantely indoors as well. Not in the same place, one of them sprays anywhere. No matter how much I clean, spray the area with vinegar mixed with warm water (which is supposed to get rid of the smell), he still comes back and does it elsewhere. I am loosing my patience with him.

Does anyone know how this can be stopped? I have a couple of other male cats that don't spray. I don't understand why some do and some don't!

I have to stop it as it is becoming a major problem. Anyone with any ideas?

I went on a 1 month vacation of sorts to a friends house across country. I've never left my 3 year old female cat before, and I wasn't worried. She was the first cat I had, but now there are 7 other cats in the house. 4 Kittens and 2 adults, As well as my roommate who's shes fully accustomed to. Before I left, she has always been my most affectionate cat. I can hold her upside down, in any position and she's fully trusting. I can pet her for hours, she never scratches or bites or even hisses. She just loves on me and licks me like crazy.
I came back from my trip. My other cats took to me instantly, but her.. she was hissing, and wailing and whenever I tried to pet her, she'd wack me hard drawing blood every time. Since then (I've been home 48 hours now) we've "made up" She now cuddles with me like before, but is still a little skittish. Before, an atomic bomb would have to go off to startle her, but now she's jumpy.. So what happened? why did my baby start hating me for awhile?

I was just told my cat has cat leukiumia, and i was told that there is nothing at all that can be done for him, is that true? Also I was told by one vet that its super contangious and that my other cat most likely will get it. But then another vet said that unless they are fighting it won't get transferred. Whats true and whats not? where do I look for answers?

I have a one year old ragdoll neutered male who suddenly got interested in the outside world and gives me a hard time everytime a door opens. He keeps waiting by the doors whenever someone tries to get in or get out and once the door is open he runs outisde and wouldn't come back in. I tried spraying him with water and he wouldn't stop doing it. What can i do to stop him from going outside?

My cat Berlin, knocks cups full of anything over! She filps her food bowl, spills her water, and knocks my cups and bowls over. I've tried changing her brand of food, the things I put her food in, where I put her food and water, and where I put my stuff! But, nothing works! What should I do?

Recently I had a cat that had feline leukemia.. I did my best to make her comfortable for 2 years. The vet told me she had to go and I agreed. During this time I had another cat who didn't have leukemia and I kept both cats inside the house while KEELEE was still alive. Both of my cats were spayed and neutered. I have a doggie door and Thomas got out one day.. He never left the yard. So I thought it would be ok.. this went on for months.. But on Friday Thomas didn't come in.. I have searched everywhere calling the pound the shelter talking to neighbors posted signs and Sobbed like a baby... How do you deal with the loss of the unknown... During all this another kitten showed up and my door.. I have fed her but I can't let myself get close to her because I feel like that isn't fair to Thomas and I can't stand getting hurt.. I still can't quit crying my family thinks I am nuts.. But Thomas was/is an awesome cat.

Over the weekend i noticed my cat had hurt his foot (his left paw had blood and i noticed one of the nails looked like it was hurt) I thought it would just heal itself. Now he ran outside when I got home earlier and once i got him in, his nail/paw is bleeding again. Is it possible for his to have ripped off his nail in a fight or anythng? Would this need emergency care or could it wait til morning

For the last few days i have noticed that my cat is laying around in spots that she never would before....like she is hiding. She also is very lifeless...usually she is full of life and very playful at night and now she is just laying around. Tonight i noticed that she is lying with her head almost in her water dish and i was trying to pet her and nudge her and she wouldnt even look up or open her eyes. She finally got up and is now laying under the table but when i call her name she doesnt respond at all and barely moves her eyes and when she did get up she seemed like she was dizzy and almost fell over. She has an appt next week at the vet but now iam worried. We have no vet open at night in this area...closest one is almost 2 hours away. What do these signs mean and what can i do? please help!

I recently switched hair spray and my cat seems to be in love with it, I wake up with her licking me head or even biting it. Are the chemicals in some aerosols that are like kitty crack or does she just fancy the fragrance? Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get her to stop attacking my head?

typical feral/stray cat problem, except they are under my storage shed outside the back of my restaraunt. Local authorities won't do squat, nearest Humane Shelter is 30 miles away. No feeding doesn't work, they get in the dumpster out back all the time. They are getting on customers cars and a couple of them even got in the back of the bread truck when it was here for delivery. I don't want to be cruel and harm them, but I own a diner, not a petting zoo!!!!!!!! One customer suggested I spray ammonia under the shed and in the dumpster, no dice, still here and have been for two months now. It is really getting old but I can't bring myself to be inhumane to them, at least not directly like shooting them, but THEY MUST GO. Someone help please. It's not my garden or yard, I have dogs that can control my personal space, it is my restaurant, and I can't put up with any longer!!!!!

My cat has had worms on and off now for about 1 month. I can't seem to get rid of them. Is there some kind of trick that I don't know about??? Or could it be the food she is eating??? Or what????? I really have no clue what I am doing wrong I follow the directions on the dewormer down to the que and they will go away for a day or 2 then they come back I just don't get it I need someone to help me. And I know someone is probably going to ask well why dont you take your cat to the vet and the answer to that is that I don't have the cash to do it right now. I am trying to get ready to have a baby and I honestly really dont have the cash to do so. So if someone can help me out here and give me some advice or something that I can try I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You..

I got a red laser toy for my cats to chase around. But recently something happen; my female cat started acting funny (twitching) and started foaming from the mouth. I believe she had a seizure. I'm thinking maybe it was the red laser. Has this happen to anyone else??
