Vocalizing is one way for your cat to communicate with you and with other animals. Some cats "talk" more than others, but most cats do make noise some of the time. We're all familiar with the meaning of hissing and growling, but there are also many other sounds that your cat is capable of, and a variety of reasons for vocalizing. If your cat is hissing or growling, please see our handout: "Understanding Cat Aggression Towards People."

Yes, most animals communicate with each other in their own special way, just as humans communicate with each other. Good example: Ants team up real good in moving a piece of crumb, so yep, they do.

of course. Animals communicate with each other just like humans do! they have a number of vocal sounds such as the meow, chirp, hisses, growls and purrs. body language is also used to communicate. swishing of the tail could mean excitement or irritation.

I think they can, I have noticed the same thing. I have seen cats meow back and forth while in front of each other and then both run off together.

They do all the time. Just watch your cat's body language. Perhaps too they have some sort of ESP or mind-reading we don't have. We know for instance that cats can taste a substance through their sense of smell and tell whether it is worth eating or not.

It sounds like they're involved in some sort of conspiracy. Maybe they're planning how to throw you out of your house and live together, or maybe they're just Al Qauda cats discussing how their flight lessons are progressing.
All I can say is: DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!!

I have two cats and I've never seen them communicate with eachother (they don't really like eachother though) but I think all animals have a way of communicating with eachother..;)
