My cat Berlin, knocks cups full of anything over! She filps her food bowl, spills her water, and knocks my cups and bowls over. I've tried changing her brand of food, the things I put her food in, where I put her food and water, and where I put my stuff! But, nothing works! What should I do?

Cats hate being sprayed with water. Don't worry though. Its not cruel and they wont hate you for it. If you have a water bottle with a nozzle, you can spray them with a fine mist and they will run away. After you do it twice, they will be conditioned to the sound of the sprayer and run whenever they hear the sound. Even if you make the sound with your voice and have no spray bottle in your hand.

Velcro, baby, velcro!! lol. Cats, like kids, love to throw things around for us to clean. They seem to get a real kick out of it. How many times have you had a baby laugh at you while you're cleaning the tossed speghettio's? Teach kitty a lesson. Go to any dollar store, pick up a strip of velcro and attached the bottom of the dishes to the floor. Then we'll see who gets the last laugh! lol :)

Maybe really really heavy food bowls... Or those ones they have now for toddlers that stick to the tray with suction cups......Mine used to do this, I even went so far as to duct tape her food bowls to the floor. Thankfully she outgrew it, but not till she was 3.

Many cats go through ths exasperating period wherein they like to topple their water bowls. In your case, the behavior has gone a bit berserk! This is waht I think... your kitty is bored. He has discovered that tipping stuff over is quite entertaining. You need to introduce something heaps more entertaining for him than sily tipping. Experiment with a laser pointer he can chase around. Or that ball in a circle toy that keeps going round and round as the cat paws it (I think your kitty might actualy take to this toy since he like to paw things), feather teaser, Da Bird... all you really really need to aim at is to get your cat to be interested in playing with something else.
I know... I have a kitty that used to tip over his water bowl and food bowl. Then I bought this circle thing with a ball that goes round and round. Kitty lost all interest in tipping bowls in favor of pawing this ball that goes round and round. Hee hee hee.

I suggest using a water bottle. I have two older cats (well, not OLDER but they arent kittens, lol.) and using a water bottle was the only way I got them to stop shredding our carpet.

I would try calling a local vet, and ask them. Also try your local pet store maybe they might have some suggestions.
