I think you might have your work cut out for you.
but if I remember right ...
first, let him out more often then
move the littler box closer to the door...
change from kitty litter to strips of news paper...
move the litter box outside....
when he stops using the litter box when he is outside,...
only give him access to the box when you are gone.
hope this helps
if nothing else get the
cat pan liners and use newspaper strips.
the newspaper absorbs ammonia like you wouldn't believe and you can "add" as needed, then pick up the bag and pull it all out at once!! those even have handles!! they are 3 dollars for 8
I have a really poopy kitty and nobody even knows I only change her box every 10 days lol. just keep adding the daily press lol

ok get you some good flea control cause you will be dealing with fleas, oh dont forget monthly wormers from the vet cause the fleas gave your cat worms, OH fix your cat so you wont contribute to over population of cats. get routin shots. Hours of stnding outside wondering where your loved cat is and when it will return. Wonder why he got into today and wonder if he got in toposion some one in the nieghborhood put out or any chemicals. Take him to the vet cause some cat attacked him and wonder if he got feline aids.

HMMM OR buy a dam automatic litter box cleaner to save you a few hundreed dollars every month or two for out door cat care.

Sheesh if you dont wanna clean the box then dont get a cat, just like you have to clean up poo after every animal. You might even step on the poo where your cat did it's duty.

same way you trained the cat to go in the litterbox. How old is the cat. It may take a little more time if he is used to a litterbox but it can be done. Start off by putting the litter box outside where you want to cat to go. then show the cat often especially after eating and sleeping. eventually you will be able to move the litterbox away and the cat will go in the dirt.

A responsible cat owner does not "get tired of cleaning the litter box". What's going to happen when you get tired of cleaning your own toilet??

I have never read anything so ridiculous!

Give your cat to a responsible owner since you will lose your cat anyway. Things happen to cats when they go outside; especially this time of year.

What we did with our cat was to move his litter tray closer and closer to the backdoor. We have a cat flap in the back door, which we had already showed him how to use (by shoving him through it!). Eventually we put the litter tray right under the cat flap inside the backdoor, then a few days later put it right under the cat flap outside the backdoor in the back yard. He seemed to have no problem finding it. Eventually we moved it away from the house and then just dispensed with it all together. He never goes to the toilet inside the house and we assume he has found somewhere outside because we never see him do his business! The whole process only took about a week or 10 days. Hope this helps.

Get a automatic litter box, this way you will not have to clean it as much. There is a good brand called littermaid automatic litterbox. I have one and I love it. Your cat will be so much safer in the house.

you really cant , but my cats did thats because i kept popping them, while I made them put their face close enough to their **** and then showed them the door or a window trust me itll work, but if they already know the litter the box its kinda to late trust me, but yeah 100% guarantee pop them on the head after they **** and make them smell it while you pop them and then show or throw them outside..... Its not that they cant be trained to do anyting they just refuse to listen havent you notice they are stuck up and think they are too good for us..

When you catch it doing it, do what people have done for centuries. Snatch the durn thing up and throw it outside and close the door. Simple as that. He'll get the message pretty quick.
