Hi Im just wondering if there are any vets or people who have a knowlege of animals on here. The thing is I have got 5 cats and one cat always seems to have a sore eye, it doesnt look like conjunctivitis as its brown and almost looks like a scab ive tried bathing it but it doesnt it helps for a while but comes back and is all around the eye, she doesnt seem to be in pain with it and isnt scratting or pawing at it. None of the other cats have this problem only one. She is a house cat and doesnt go out side so she cant of picked out up because she doesnt go out.
Iam starting to think that it could be the cat litter we use, as once we used a different brand and that week her eye seem to clear up, the brown stuff hadnt gone completely but it wasnt as much and didnt seem to be as red. I know we should really go to the vets but Ive looked online at the vet sights and nothing matches what she has.

My cat is 12 years old and stays indoors. She received all her vaccines when she was a kitten but since then, she hasn't had any. My mom's indoor cats lived 20+ years without any vaccines other than the initial ones as kittens and they never got sick. Is it really necessary if she's an indoor cat? If so, which ones are necessary and why? I worry about potential reactions because of her age. Thank you in advance for all answers!

Found a carry bag with 2 new born kittens in someone had dumped them down a country lane.
I don't really know how old they are, still have umbilical cord.

Recently got a 9 month old resuce cat. Had to keep her in for 3 weeks as she was waiting for second set of jabs, and wanted her to get used to our home. She happily uses the cat flap, but still uses her litter tray. It's too wet at the moment to put it out into the garden, and we have a new carpet in the sitting room. Any ideas? Thanks

I sometimes feel like he should have more of a variety. Also, wondering if I should give canned food to him.

When he was younger he would try to pull my hair sticks out and now all of a sudden he has actually started chewing on my hair. I will be sitting down and he will get up by my head and start chewing on my hair, he will yank on my hair when I am sleeping, and I don't know if he wants to play or if something has changed and he is mad about it. HELP my hair is coming out...

Bless his heart, my two 1/2 year old cat just recently dropped at least 5 pounds, quite quickly, and that worries me because he's always been a big butterball. He's still eating, still playing, no fevers, and no respiratory probs. Is this normal?

I used to have a cat that did this all the time. and the smell wasnt great. :( and it was hard to get this smell out of the house.
but what I wanted to know was if there is a way to keep my 2 new cats from doing this?
they havent started doing it, yet. to my knowledge.
but my only solution is that im thinking of getting rid of them before they start doing this. because the smell is disgusting and I would not like my house to become like that.
is spay/neuter the only way? or will they still "spray" afterwards if i do get them fixed?

i have 2 cats that are both males.
brothers to be exact.
but lately one of them has been making these weird noises and trying to get on the back of the other cat.
The one tries to bite the other ones neck and "mount" him.
and the other one could care less...he just sits there or sometimes he will "fight" the other one who is trying to do this.
I am absolutely sure that they are both young adult male cats.
what is up with the cat that keeps trying to do this?
is there anything I can do to make him stop or what?
