Some cats tend to do this because they are not used to strangers.
try to let her be around ppl alot more then maybe she will come around and not be so mean.
otherwise ask your vet about it.
maybe its just the breed of cat also.

Did you spoil the cat as it was getting older? I know my brother has had a cat for a couple of years since she was born and he would always let her bite and scratch people as a kitty because it didn't hurt and he thought it was "cute", but then as she is older now she is hateful to everyone. Hisses and scratches constantly. You should see the gashes she put in my hand just last week. Just make sure to not let her do things like that. If she is mean or hateful to someone give her a little boop on the head. Don't hurt her or anything, just let her know it isn't good to do things like that. My kitty used to be like that when I first got her (I got her when she was old) and she was mean as can be. Now she's my little angel thanks to the boops. <33

It is not to late. Try socializing her with a regular visitor, when having several guest, it is best to keep her away at first so as not to promote the mean behavior. The more she sees strangers, the more comfortable she will become. Just start with one, then gradually increase. Remember, cats are an excellent judge of character, and if she is anyting like my meanie, she will still attack the people she doesn't like, but be fine with others after time. When she does good with company reward her. Good Luck!

she's anti social
just like people cats come in a variety of personality's
my neighbors just got sued for attacking a child...no kidding.
he needs to go to be declawed and neutered. it takes away some of the aggressive territorial behaviors...
I know some people call this an amputation but the child in this case lost an eye and had to have the cat put down.
I don't know if having an aggressive killer cat for 15 more years is appropriate either.

Well I believe it is too late now to train her. A lot of times Cats can become jealous of there owners. So If you have friends over then maybe your cat is feeling the loss of attention!
