My cat is a major out door cat. He goes away for days at a time. But 7 months ago I moved. Now he keeps going back to my old house. Sometimes I can't find him for days, I lost him one time for about 2 months! He's a smart cat, and knows how to survive(I caught him eating a rabbit at my old house.) I'm worried that he'll get ran over, or something like that. I let him go outside for a little while yesterday, but he is going nuts and wants to go outside. How do I get him to come back to my new house? Or get him to stay with out locking him in?

I was wondering if it is safe to add baking soda to cat litter. I have read that it helps to eliminate odor. I have bought pure baking soda (not the one made specially for pets) by arm and hammer. I thought it would be a good idea to get some feedback before I use it, as its just ordinary pure baking soda.

I recently saw an advertisement for cat litter made from wheat called "Swheat Scoop." The ad promises that this cat litter naturally controls odor enzymatically, is clay and chemical free, competely biodegradable and very cat friendly. What is your experience with this litter? Also, I know that clumping litters can be dangerous for cats that tend to eat cat litter -- has anyone experienced or heard of this problem with wheat-based clumping litter?

My cat had 5 live kittens and 2 stillborn. I am concerned because her stomach looks low near her rear end. I am not sure if this is another kitten inside of her.

My two female cats have been getting along with each other just fine. They gone through several heat cycles together and never have fought with each other. Now, all of a sudden I am noticing one of my cats acting really weird and hissing at the other. My oldest cat who is about 2 years old was caught trying to mount my younger cat who is about to be a year old, like she was a male and not female. I don't understand what brought on this behavior. What should I do?

She crys all the time. Has food/water/sm.amt. milk (too much no good) has toys etc. Run of the house. Everyone plays with her, but she cries all the time!!!! Got her from animal shelter/ they were not sure of her true age? Put her in litterbox, she jumps out/I put her back, etc. so she can get used to it. Doesn't seem to want it?

I was wondering... if Green Tea is so good for humans, maybe it's good for cats and other animals? My cat loves eating grass and such- maybe he'll enjoy green tea leaves?
(i know, it sounds wierd-but it's just out of curiousity.)

My cat lets the most awful farts all day long, and despite changing her diet, continues to do so. The smell is horrid and lingers continuously throughout the apartment, and I’m at my wits end about what to do.

Is it possible that maybe it has something to do with this breed of feline? I’m uncertain of her pedigree, as I found her as a stray along the road. She has a bushy black coat, a prominent bushy tail that she often holds high up in the air, and a white stripe that runs down her back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

We got a cat about 8 months ago, we spayed him and de-clawed him and just recently he started to pee on the couch. It's not like he is spraying, it is more like he is going up on the couch and peeing just like he would in his litter box. I don't know how to stop him from doing it, I've had many cats in the past and they have never peed in the house outside of their litter boxes. Please help!!!

My cat gets twitchy and licks all of the sudden, then runs and hides. I took him to the vet two days ago and got him a cortizone shot which usually works. Not this time.. It seems like when he gets into a sack or cardboard box it gets worse. I no longer have any of those in my house. Anyone have any ideas?

We've have had our cat Noki since she was a kitten. She was a mean kitten it took us a couple of years for her become a good cat! Now she is 10 years old. We use to have another cat (got her about 6 months later) She is gone now! So anyways she is used to being with other cats. She's been good with our 2 young boys. Since we adopted a 1 year old male cat (he's neutered, and a sweetheart!) over 1 month ago. Noki is hissing and growling all the time at the kids and cat! Well yesterday my son went to pet her like he always has done and she flipped and attacked his hand! Really BAD!!! Noki was on my husband when this happen, my husband said my son did nothing wrong! We also noticed that she has lost a couple of teeth the past few months. The past 2 weeks her eyes are watering! Does anybody know what causes the eyes to water on a older cat? Is that a sign that she is sick? If so, I'll take her to the vets! Please Help! I don't know what to do! Now she is harming my kids!

Is gaining over 2 lbs in a 5 month period alright for an adult cat?

She was only at the SPCA for 2 weeks. Can't be sure of her circumstances before that. She was brought in as a "found outside" cat, but I believe she was a house cat, her coat was too nice to be an outdoor cat.

She is fed a high quality diet. When you feel her belly, she doesn't seem to have droopy fat hanging down or anything.
