My cat was well trained at using his litter box. When its not clean enough he goes in one of our restrooms, which I don't blame him. Now he uses the litter, but also urinates on the carpet, even when the box is clean. Can't stand the smell, considering giving him away, but we do love him. Any suggestions on how to stop it?

My cat is three weeks pregnant and she throws up every time she eats and is not gaining any weight. Otherwise, she seems fine. Is this normal and how long could she suffer from morning sickness?

I am seriously considering adopting a cat, but I have no doors in my house and tend to toss and turn alot while I sleep. I am worried that I may roll over onto the cat if he decides to sleep with me. Is it safe for a cat to share your bed and if not how do I keep him out without any doors?

I don't know what I should do. It looks painful. One of his claws recently broke near the base. It doesn't seem to be tender or hurting him at all but they are just so short.

She's litter trained and has been since we brought her home. Why would she be doing this? Also .... She doesn't meow. She never has..... She purrs really softly but when she tries to meow it comes out all scratchy and she only does that if she has gotten herself stuck in a room or the basement. Any thoughts?

I recently put 2 and 2 together and realised my cat is pregnant. She is on the rather large size. I want to know if anybody could possibl estimate what stage in her pregnancy she is at. She has very swollen teats, she is being very affectionate and she is scratching at my carpet constantly. I dont know whether i should get a box our ready for her with towels in yet or to just leave her do her own thing? Any answer would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Our kitten loves it when we are asleep or even laying down. She purrs and rubs her head on our face until we move. Just wondering if anyone knows the reason why. My guess is that when she was being fed by her mother, her mum used to lay down whilst feeding but just wondering. Many thanks

Just wondering what people thought of the government scheme to microchip people. Would you mind having a small implant under your skin so you never got lost and they could easily identify you when you had to go to the docs? Or even better... you'd never need to carry any money or documents with you.

Or... is it a complete infringement on your rights as a human being?

My new flat mate has a cat, and I wouldn’t mind at all, save for it likes to run into my room and defecate on my bed. I’ve tried all manners of keeping the cat out of the room, including shutting the door, yet I’ll return in the evening and find a nice pile waiting for me. My flat mate hasn’t done anything to curb his kitty from doing this.

Someone told me that it’s likely a domination thing the cat is doing, and that it’s trying to assert its dominance over me. I decided I’d return the favor to the cat, and stood over it one day, straddling its litter box while kitty was doing his business. I flipped my kilt up and let go with a burst of diarrhea, covering the cat completely within an instant.

The cat was none too pleased with this, and ran through the flat wailing like a banshee. It headed straight for its owner, and leapt up into his arms, covering him with excrement as well. Let’s just say that we nearly came to blows, yet we still haven’t resolved the cat issue.

My partner and I are leaving the country and moving to Bulgaria (before this country becomes a complete Totalitarian state). We are taking our 3 cats and 2 dogs, although i have no problem with all the blood tests and jabs they need i am very concerned about the microchip. Maybe that's an understatement, i will not under any circumstances have my pets microchiped. What do i do about bringing them with us to our new farm in Bulgaria?

I have two cats... one male (binx) and the other a female (luna). The female seems to be getting something under her neck, feels like a ball... and she has never had it before, and on the same side (the right) she has wounds on her mouth (not inside the mouth, the outside of it).
What can it be? And what should i do?

My cat is an indoor cat but lately he is trying to become an outdoor cat. He sits by the door and howls VERY loudly or will wait until someone opens the door and he'll dash outside. When I call him he won't come back until 5 am and he's outside howling again and meowing like crazy until we let him in to feed him. It's driving me and probably our neighbors nuts!! How can I stop this behavior? He is not allowed in certain rooms of the house and will also sit outside those rooms and claw up the carpet! Do you think he could have some type of mental disorder? This is a serious question!

About 2 months ago a stray cat came to the back of my house. She looked like she was hungry so I gave her some cat food. After several days of the continued visit, I learned that she was not alone. She has 4 smaller cats following her. I have been feeding the group of 5 cats for about 2 months and I’m concerned that I might not be handling the situation correctly. The mother cat looks like she is pregnant again and the other 4 cats are growing up fast and become pregnant like their mother. What should I do?I keep reading about Trap Neuter and Return, but it seems like a difficult task when they wont let me touch them. Also the thought of them going to shelter and being euthanized for being "too feral" or unadobtable scares me . I currently have two cats of my own, and really can’t have anymore indoor cats. I have no problem continuing to feed them, but i want to be reassured that im not making things worse for them. Please Advise what I should do.

I had a friend tell me that Swiffer Wetjet cleaning solution poisoned his cat. He said that he cleaned the floor with it, and then the cat walked on the floor. He said that after the cat licked it's paws the cat died. I have trouble believing that the Swiffer company is selling a cleaning solution that is poisonous to animals.
