My cat has tested positive about a year ago, he has his good days and bad days, but recently hes been getting a bit bloated looking on the sides. I did take him to the vet, but it seems like whenever I take him to the vet now the only thing the doctor tells me is that everything is caused by the disease. Now I know its a serious disease and stuff, but what if he didn't have it but was still bloated? what do you think it could be? My cat is def a male cat, I even had him fixed, but he is rounded out like a pregnant female, tummy is firm and when I rub it, there are no signs of pain, and I don't think its weight gain because I can still feel the spine and hip bones when I pet him. I would hate to say the doctor is wrong because he is certified and knows what hes doing, but what I'm trying to say is basically,Just because the sky is gray it doesn't mean its gonna rain,it could still happen when the suns out. Has anybody ever had this happen to their cat(s)?Maybe its an infection?

Do any of you have this issue with your cats? Mine gets all excited about her toy mouse--then runs, jumps and soars all through the house howling madly. It's kinda funny, but why do they do that?

I have a 10-year-old indoor female cat. She has never, ever been interested in human food. However, here recently she has been "hunting" my plate and taking any human food she can. I have also noticed that she seems to be losing weight even though she is going after all this extra food. I am not entirely sure if she is eating much cat food because she has a brother that eats the food too, but has always eaten in the past. She does not act like she feels bad otherwise. Anybody had this happen? Any ideas?

We have two cats who were feral and adopted us. Gradually they have become more and more friendly, one in particular even letting you hold him occasionally. The other has come to the point that he likes to be petted, but still doesn't like to be picked up. They both come in and out of the house now via the cat door and are quite friendly around those they know, although still occasionally skittish. The problem now is that I saw a tapeworm segment on one and so I've had to give them all pills (to keep them from passing it around). The few other domesticated cats we have were fine (as much as cats and pills can be anyway) but I can't keep the one little guy in my arms. I usually wrap them in a towel to protect me from their claws, but I couldn't keep him in it. He's strong and more so, panicked when he's picked up. Any tips?

My cat has been having a foul smell coming from his right ear and it makes a squeeky noise. Also, there is big clumps of brownish-red goo that comes out of that ear when he shakes his head. What could this be?

I have an R&B kind of voice and well she is pregnant and she like to whine for her boyfriend all the time. Well does my voice get her off? Or is she just thinking I want her too? Because a minute ago I was singing and she climbed on my head and clawed my back, she sniffed in my mouth! Then she bit my lip!

I have a cat (Triscuit) who is around 5 years old. Over the past year, he has gotten into a few cat fights with the neighbour cats, and one pretty bad one. Lately we've noticed tiny patches of fur missing here and there, but we assumed they were from the cat fights. Now there's a patch on his chest about the size of a quarter and you can clearly see his skin. There is also a light-brownish-coloured dot in the middle of the bare patch. Does anyone know what could be wrong with him or what I should do??

i just adopted a female kitten who ive been trying to introduce to my resident cat (female, 2 years old) for the last 2 weeks. i've followed all the steps ( keeping them isolated for a week, interchanging smells etc) but even still, whenever my resident cat sees the kitten, she hisses and makes a high pitched noise. im afraid they'll never like eachother and ill have to give the kitten back.

Please HELP. My cat won't stop chewing on his Claws!!!?
I don't know what I should do. It looks painful. One of his claws recently broke near the base. It doesn't seem to be tender or hurting him at all but they are just so short.

By the way he has plenty of toys that he plays with and he is not stressed or nervous what so ever he is the MOST laid back cat I have ever seen.
